Indonesia) | Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penggemar K-Pop atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai K-Popers tidak hanya terlibat dalam aktivitas hiburan dan budaya populer, tetapi juga menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dalam berbagai bentuk aktivisme sosial dan politik. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana perkembangan komunitas K-Popers di Cile kini bertransformasi menjadi kelompok yang lebih kompleks dan memiliki tujuan politis. K-Popers di Cile membentuk identitas baru dengan nama kpopersporboric demi wujudkan tujuan politisnya. Tujuan utama dari kpopersporboric adalah mendorong perubahan sosial dan politik di Cile melalui dukungan terhadap Gabriel Boric yang dinilai merupakan kandidat yang progresif, serta melawan ketidaksetaraan dan konservatisme ekstrem yang muncul dalam lanskap politik Cile. Untuk melihat strategi yang dilakukan kpopersporboric untuk mencapai tujuannya, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis tematik terhadap konten-konten yang dipublikasikan oleh akun X @kpopersporboric. Melalui analisis ini, peneliti mengkaji jenis-jenis pesan yang disampaikan, strategi komunikasi yang digunakan, serta nilai-nilai politis yang diangkat oleh komunitas tersebut.

Inggris) | In recent years, fans of K-Pop, commonly known as K-Popers, have not only engaged in entertainment and popular culture activities but have also demonstrated active involvement in various forms of social and political activism. This study examines how the K-Popers community in Chile has transformed into a more complex group with explicit political goals. Chilean K-Popers have formed a new identity under the name kpopersporboric as a means of advancing their political objectives. The primary aim of kpopersporboric is to promote social and political change in Chile by supporting Gabriel Boric, a candidate considered to represent progressive values, as well as to oppose inequality and the rise of extreme conservatism in the Chilean political landscape. To explore the strategies employed by kpopersporboric in achieving these goals, this study adopts a qualitative approach using thematic analysis of content published by the X account @kpopersporboric. Through this analysis, the research investigates the types of messages conveyed, the communication strategies utilized, and the political values promoted by the community.
