Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Pemadatan tanah akibat perlintasan traktor roda 4 menjadi masalah serius pada lahan
pertanian intensif karena menurunkan porositas, konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh, dan kadar air
tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap
pemadatan tanah pada kedalaman 0–50 cm saat 12 bulan setelah perlintasan, serta mempelajari
hubungan antar sifat fisik tanah. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan
empat dosis pupuk kandang sapi (0, 15, 20, dan 25 ton/ha) pada lima kedalaman tanah (0 – 10,
10 – 20, 20 – 30, 30 – 40 dan 40 – 50 cm), dan total 100 sampel.
Hasil menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kandang sapi menurunkan dry bulk density dan
meningkatkan porositas, konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh, serta kadar air tanah. Dosis 25 ton/ha paling
efektif mengurangi pemadatan. Dry bulk density berhubungan negatif dengan konduktivitas
hidrolik jenuh (R² = 0,4118), sedangkan porositas dan kadar air berhubungan positif. Data 12 bulan
menunjukkan pemadatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan 0 dan 6 bulan pengamatan.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Soil compaction caused by four-wheel tractor traffic is a major issue in intensive farming,
reducing porosity, saturated hydraulic conductivity, and soil water content. This study aimed to
evaluate the effect of cattle manure doses on soil compaction at depths of 0–50 cm, 12 months
after tractor traffic, and to analyze the relationships among soil physical properties. The
experiment used a Completely Randomized Design with four manure doses (0, 15, 20, and 25
t/ha) across five soil depths (0 – 10, 10 – 20, 20 – 30, 30 – 40 dan 40 – 50 cm), and totaling 100
samples.
Results showed that cattle manure application reduced dry bulk density and increased
porosity, saturated hydraulic conductivity, and soil water content. The 25 t/ha dose was the most
effective in reducing compaction. Dry bulk density was negatively correlated with saturated
hydraulic conductivity (R² = 0.4118), while porosity and water content showed positive
correlations. After 12 months, soil compaction was higher compared to 0 and 6 months.
