| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana perbandingan konstruksi yang dilakukan media massa untuk membentuk isu politik dinasti Presiden Joko Widodo menjelang Pilkada serentak 2024 serta mengungkap peran media massa sebagai aktor politik dalam membentuk legitimasi kekuasaan ditengah potensi penyalahgunaan institusi hukum menjelang momentum politik besar melalui informasi politik yang dikonstruksi dan diarahkan, khususnya berkaitan dengan upaya DPR RI menganulir RUU Pilkada dan aksi massa untuk mengawal Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam gerakan #KawalPutusanMK. Isu ini sensitif karena melibatkan perubahan regulasi yang dinilai menguntungkan keluarga presiden, memicu kritik publik, dan memunculkan gerakan sebagai bentuk perlawanan sipil. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M.Kosicki mengkaji berita dari empat media daring yaitu Tempo.co, Kompas.com, Sindonews, dan Detik.com yang diterbitkan selama Maret hingga Agustus 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setiap media membingkai isu politik dinasti dengan cara yang berbeda sesuai dengan orientasi politik dan strategi komunikasinya. Tempo.co menggunakan narasi kritis dan retorikal moral untuk menyoroti praktik pelanggengan kekuasaan melalui keluarga presiden. Kompas.com menekankan perlawanan sipil dan posisi mahasiswa sebagai aktor moral dalam menjaga demokrasi konstitusional. Sindonews memperlihatkan ambiguitas antara sikap kritis dan narasi pembelaan terhadap pemerintah. Detik.com menampilkan simbolisme aksi protes publik tanpa sikap editorial yang tegas. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa media bukan sekadar saluran informasi, tetapi juga aktor dalam komunikasi politik yang membentuk opini publik dan memengaruhi legitimasi kekuasaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian politik dinasti dan framing media melalui konstruksi wacana untuk membentuk realitas terkait kekuasaan ditengah krisis kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi hukum. |

Inggris) | This study aims to analyze how the mass media compares the construction of political issues surrounding President Joko Widodo's dynasty ahead of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, as well as to uncover the role of the mass media as a political actor in shaping the legitimacy of power a mid the potential for abuse of legal institutions ahead of a major political moment through constructed and directed political information, particularly in relation to the Indonesian House of Representatives' efforts to annul the Regional Election Bill and mass actions to monitor the of the Constitutional Court in the #KawalPutusanMK movement. This issue is sensitive because it involves regulatory changes deemed to benefit the president's family, triggering public criticism, and sparking movements as forms of civil resistance. Using a qualitative approach with the framing analysis model by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis model, this study examines news articles from four online media outlets Tempo.co, Kompas.com, Sindonews, and Detik.com—published between March and August 2024. The research findings indicate that each media outlet frames the political dynasty issue differently, in line with their political orientation and communication strategies. Tempo.co uses critical and moral rhetoric to highlight the practice of perpetuating power through the president's family. Kompas.com emphasizes civil resistance and the position of students as moral actors in safeguarding constitutional democracy. Sindonews shows ambiguity between a critical stance and a narrative defending the government. Detik.com presents the symbolism of public protests without a clear editorial stance. These findings indicate that the media is not merely a channel of information but also an actor in political communication that shapes public opinion and influences the legitimacy of power. This research contributes to studies on dynastic politics and media framing through discourse construction to shape reality regarding power amid a crisis of public trust in legal institutions. |
