| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Usaha peternakan sapi potong di pedesaan Indonesia sering menghadapi kendala pada modalnya terutama karena sifatnya masih tradisional dan turun temurun. Peternak belum memiliki informasi yang jelas tentang kebutuhan modal yang pasti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1). Mengetahui besarnya kebutuhan modal investasi dan modal kerja pada usaha ternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Kebumen.; (2). Mengetahui modal yang paling dibutuhkan dalam usaha ternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Kebumen.; (3). Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi besarnya modal investasi dan modal kerja pada usaha ternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode survei terhadap peternak sapi potong PO di Kabupaten Kebumen. Sampel wilayah diambil dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu memilih enam kecamatan dengan populasi sapi PO terbanyak, yaitu Kecamatan Buluspesantren, Puring, Ambal, Klirong, Mirit, dan Petanahan. Jumlah responden dipilih menggunakan kuota sampling, diperoleh 90 peternak. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu penerimaan dari usaha ternak, umur peternak, pendidikan peternak, jumlah ternak, dan pekerjaan utama peternak. Analisis data meliputi analisis deksriptif untuk mendeskripsikan modal dan analasis regresi linier berganda untuk melihat pengaruh dari faktor-faktor yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Nilai rata-rata kebutuhan modal investasi peternak sapi potong PO di Kabupaten Kebumen yaitu sebesar Rp. 49.667.748 dan kebutuhan modal kerja yaitu sebesar Rp. 10.722.198.; 2). Modal yang paling dibutuhkan oleh peternak sapi potong PO di Kabupaten Kebumen adalah modal investasi untuk pembelian ternak indukan; 3). Modal investasi peternak sapi potong PO di Kabupaten Kebumen dipengaruhi signifikan oleh penerimaan (P<0,01), umur peternak (P<0,05), pendidikan peternak (P<0,05), dan jumlah ternak (P<0,01) sedangkan modal kerja peternak sapi potong PO di Kabupaten Kebumen dipengaruhi signifikan oleh penerimaan (P<0,01), dan jumlah ternak (P<0,01). |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Beef cattle farming in rural Indonesia often faces challenges regarding capital, especially due to its traditional and hereditary nature. Farmers do not have clear information about the exact capital requirements. The goals of this research are: (1). To determine the amount of investment and working capital needed for beef cattle farming in Kebumen Regency; (2). To identify the most needed capital in beef cattle farming in Kebumen Regency; (3). To analyze the factors that influence the amount of investment and working capital in beef cattle farming in Kebumen Regency. The research was conducted using a survey method on PO beef cattle farmers in Kebumen Regency. The sample areas were selected using purposive sampling, choosing six sub-districts with the highest population of PO cattle, namely Buluspesantren, Puring, Ambal, Klirong, Mirit, and Petanahan. The number of respondents was chosen using quota sampling, resulting in 90 farmers. The variables studied are the income from livestock farming, the age of the farmer, the education of the farmer, the number of livestock, and the main occupation of the farmer. Data analysis includes descriptive analysis to describe capital and multiple linear regression analysis to see the influence of the studied factors. The results of the study show that: 1). The average investment capital requirement for beef cattle farmers in Kebumen Regency is Rp. 49.667.748 and the working capital requirement is Rp. 10.722.198; 2). The most needed capital by beef cattle farmers in Kebumen Regency is investment capital for the purchase of breeding livestock; 3). The investment capital of beef cattle farmers in Kebumen regency is significantly influenced by income (P<0.01), the age of farmers (P<0.05), the education of farmers (P<0.05), and the number of livestock (P<0.01), while the working capital of beef cattle farmers in Kebumen regency is significantly influenced by income (P<0.01) and the number of livestock (P<0.01). |
