| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kondisi mesin sangat penting dalam menunjang kelancaran proses produksi pada industri manufaktur. PT Watusalam Textile(WASTEX) saat ini menghadapi tingginya frekuensi kerusakan pada mesin carding, khususnya nomor 3, 7, dan 8, akibat tidak adanya perawatan preventif. Kerusakan ini menimbulkan risiko kehilangan performa sistem berupa kerugian kehilangan produksi serta timbulnya biaya perbaikan maupun penggantian. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun usulan perawatan preventif dan interval waktu perawatan dengan menganalisis nilai risiko akibat kerusakan untuk memfokuskan perawatan pada subsistem yang memiliki nilai risiko terbesar dari hasil evaluasi dengan metode RBM. Melalui integrasi metode Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) dan Reliability-Centered Maintenance II (RCM II) dapat disusun usulan perawatan preventif dengan mempertimbangkan subsistem yang dianggap kritis berdasarkan hasil analisis risiko serta mode kegagalan yang terjadi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai risiko tertinggi pada mesin carding 3 sebesar Rp185.283.570, mesin 7 sebesar Rp163.157.671, dan mesin 8 sebesar Rp165.028.711, melebihi ambang batas risiko perusahaan (0,8%). Usulan interval perawatan adalah: mesin 3—Main cylinder 9 hari, licker in 6 hari, FBK 8 hari; mesin 7—FBK 11 hari, Main cylinder 10 hari, doffer 9 hari; mesin 8—licker in 8 hari, Main cylinder 11 hari, FBK 8 hari. |

PT Watusalam Textile (WASTEX) faces a high frequency of failures in carding machines, particularly units No. 3, 7, and 8, due to the absence of preventive maintenance. These failures lead to system performance losses, including production loss and repair or replacement costs. This study aims to develop preventive maintenance proposals and determine optimal maintenance intervals by analyzing risk values of failures, focusing on subsystems with the highest risk levels using the Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) method. The RBM results are integrated with Reliability-Centered Maintenance II (RCM II) to identify critical subsystems and define preventive maintenance actions based on failure modes. Analysis shows that the highest risk values occur in carding machine 3 (Rp185,283,570), machine 7 (Rp163,157,671), and machine 8 (Rp165,028,711), all exceeding the company’s risk acceptance threshold of 0.8%. The proposed maintenance intervals are: machine 3—Main cylinder (9 days), licker-in (6 days), FBK (8 days); machine 7—FBK (11 days), Main cylinder (10 days), doffer (9 days); machine 8—licker-in (8 days), Main cylinder (11 days), FBK (8 days). |
