Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Mahasiswa berada dalam tahap emerging adulthood yaitu masa transisi dari remaja akhir menuju dewasa awal. Periode ini merupakan masa penting bagi individu untuk membangun hubungan interpersonal dalam rangka mencapai tugas perkembangan intimasi. Terbentuknya hubungan interpersonal yang bermakna dipengaruhi oleh attachment style yang dimiliki individu serta kemampuan individu untuk self-disclosure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan attachment style dengan self-disclosure pada mahasiswa FIKES Unsoed.
Metodologi: Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional yang melibatkan 370 mahasiswa FIKES Unsoed dengan metode proporsionate random sampling. Data didapatkan dari pengisian kuesioner Revised Adult Attachment Scale (close relationships version) dan kuesioner Revised Self Disclosure Scale berbentuk google form yang kemudian diolah dengan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan responden penelitian berusia minimum 18 tahun dan maksimum 23 tahun, mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 287 responden (77,6%), responden terbanyak berasal dari jurusan keperawatan sejumlah 86 responden (23,2%) dan angkatan 2024 sejumlah 130 responden (35,1%), serta mayoritas responden berasal dari suku Jawa sebanyak 288 responden (35.1%). Responden paling banyak memiliki attachment secure dengan jumlah 130 responden (35.1%) dan self-disclosure sedang dengan jumlah 260 responden (70.3%). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara attachment style dengan self-disclosure pada mahasiswa FIKES Unsoed dengan nilai p = 0,000.
Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara attachment style dengan self-disclosure pada mahasiswa FIKES Unsoed. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai pengalaman attachment style dan self-disclosure responden serta faktor-faktor yang memediasi hubungan attachment style dengan self-disclosure.

Inggris)Background: Emerging adulthood, defined as the transitional stage between late adolescence and early adulthood, represents a critical developmental period for establishing meaningful interpersonal relationships and achieving the task of intimacy development. These relationships are shaped by an individual’s attachment style and capacity for self-disclosure. The present study aimed to investigate the association between attachment style and self-disclosure among students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman.
Methodology: A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted with 370 Faculty of Health Sciences Universitas Jenderal Soedirman students selected through proportionate random sampling. Data were collected using the Revised Adult Attachment Scale (close relationships version) and the Revised Self-Disclosure Scale, administered via Google Forms. Univariate and bivariate analyses, including the chi-square test, were performed.
Results: Participants were aged 18–23 years, predominantly female (n = 287, 77.6%). Most participants were from the Nursing Department (n = 86, 23.2%) and the class of 2024 (n = 130, 35.1%). The majority identified as Javanese (n = 288, 77.8%). Most respondents had a secure attachment style (n = 130, 35.1%) and moderate self-disclosure levels (n = 260, 70.3%). A significant association was found between attachment style and self-disclosure (p=0.000).
Conclusion: Attachment style is significantly related to self-disclosure among Faculty of Health Sciences Universitas Jenderal Soedirman students. Future research should explore the underlying mechanisms and potential mediating variables influencing this relationship, as well as qualitative insights into students’ lived experiences of attachment and self-disclosure.
