| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kerontokan rambut merupakan masalah umum yang berdampak pada kepercayaan diri. Penggunaan bahan sintetis seperti minoxidil kerap menimbulkan efek samping, sehingga diperlukan alternatif alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan dan menguji efektivitas gel kombinasi ekstrak daun lidah buaya dan daun seledri terhadap pertumbuhan rambut kelinci. Ekstrak diperoleh melalui tahapan maserasi, kemudian diformulasikan dalam sediaan gel dan diuji sifat fisik serta stabilitasnya. Uji aktivitas pertumbuhan rambut dilakukan pada kelinci yang dibagi dalam enam kelompok. termasuk kontrol normal, kontrol negatif, kontrol positif (minoxidil 2%), dan tiga kelompok formula dengan kombinasi ekstrak daun lidah buaya (0221 gr, 0,234 gr, 0,247 gr) dan daun seledri (0,013 gr, 0,026 gr, 0,039 gr). Uji dilakukan selama 21 hari dan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA serta uji lanjut LSD/Tukey. Hasil menunjukkan formula gel memenui parameter sifat fisik dan stabilitas. Formula III (0, 247gr lidah buaya dan 0,039 gr seledri) menghasilkan pertumbuhan rambut terbaik, sebanding dengan kontrol positif. Sehingga gel dengan kombinasi ekstrak daun lidah buaya dan daun seledri memiliki potensi sebagai altrenatif alami dalam merangsang pertumbuhan rambut. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Hair loss is a common issue that affects self-confidence. The use of synthetic agents such as minoxidil often causes side effects, making natural alternatives necessary. This study aimed to formulate and evaluate the effectiveness of a gel containing a combination of aloe vera leaf extract and celery leaf extract on rabbit hair growth. The extracts were obtained through maceration, formulated into a gel, and evaluated for physical properties and stability. Hair growth activity was tested on rabbits divided into six groups : normal control, negative control, positive control (minoxidil 2%),, and three treatment group with gel formulations containing aloe vera extract (0221 gr, 0,234 gr, 0,247 gr) and celery extract (0,013 gr, 0,026 gr, 0,039 gr). The test was conducted over 21 days and analyzed using ANOVA and LSD/Tukey post hoc tests. Results showed thal all gel formulations met the required physical and stability parameters. Formula III (0, 247gr aloe vera and 0,039 gr celery) showed the highest hair growth effect, comparable to the positive control. Therefore, the gel combining aloe vera and celery leaf extracts shows potensial as a nature alternative for promoting hair growth. |
