| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan non-equivalent-control-group-design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe word square dan talking stick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 dengan jumlah 144 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut, sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 69 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe word square dan talking stick dengan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai post-test kelas ekperimen yaitu sebesar 84,11 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai post-test kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 71,55. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is an experimental study with a research design using a non-equivalent-control-group-design. This study aims to determine the differences in the cooperative learning model of the word square and talking stick types on critical thinking skills in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang. The population in this study were 144 students of grade X at SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Based on this technique, the sample in this study was 69 students. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it shows that there are differences in critical thinking skills between classes using the cooperative learning model of the word square and talking stick types and classes using conventional learning models. The post-test score of the experimental class was 84.11, higher than the post-test score of the control class, which was 71.55. |
