| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang. Pendugaan bobot badan domba ekor tipis dengan menggunakan rumus Denmark. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ketepatan rumus Denmark dalam menduga bobot badan domba ekor tipis dan dilakukan kalibrasi untuk meningkatkan keakuratannya. Materi dan Metode. Materi yang digunakan yaitu domba ekor tipis dengan berumur 4 – 24 bulan, pitta ukur dan timbangan digital. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis deskriptif, uji korelasi dan uji regresi. Hasil. Pendekatan menggunakan metode coba-coba (trial and error) dengan membandingkan bobot badan penddugaan dan bobot badan asli. Kalibrasi rumus Denmark dengan mengubah pembilang dari 18 menjadi -18,5 sehingga diperoleh rumus : (LD – 18,5)2/100 dan selisih antara rata-rata bobot badan asli dengan rata-rata bobot badan pendugaan sebesar 0,17 kg. Simpulan. Rumus Denmark yang sudah dikalibrasi dengan pembilang -18,5 menghasilkan rata-rata bobot badan yang paling mendekati bobot asli dengan deviasi -0,78%. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background. Estimation of body weight of thin-tailed sheep using the Danish formula. The purpose of the study was to determine the accuracy of the Danish formula in estimating the body weight of thin-tailed sheep and calibration to improve its accuracy. Materials and Methods. The materials used were thintailed sheep aged 4-24 months, measuring pitta and digital scales. The research data obtained were analysed descriptively, correlation test and regression test. Results. The approach uses the trial and error method by comparing the estimated body weight and the original body weight. Calibration of the Danish formula by changing the numerator from 18 to -18.5 so that the formula is obtained: (LD - 18.5)2/100 and the difference between the average original body weight and the average estimated body weight of 0.17 kg. Conclusion. The calibrated Danish formula with a numerator of -18.5 produced an average body weight closest to the original weight with a deviation of -0.78%. |
