Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penggunaan traktor roda 2 dalam pengolahan tanah dinilai lebih efektif dan efisien dibandingkan peralatan tradisional, namun dapat menyebabkan pemadatan tanah yang berdampak negatif pada sistem perakaran tanaman serta sirkulasi air dan udara dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap tingkat pemadatan tanah pada kedalaman 0 – 50 cm pada saat 6 bulan setelah perlintasan traktor roda 2, serta (2) mengetahui hubungan antar variabel sifat fisik tanah terkait pengaruh pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap tingkat pemadatan tanah pada kedalaman 0 – 50 cm pada saat 6 bulan setelah perlintasan traktor roda 2. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Agustus 2024 – Juni 2025 di lahan UPJA Kecamatan Sokaraja dan Laboratorium Terpadu 1 IAB Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan meliputi empat taraf dosis pupuk kandang sapi: 0 ton/ha (P0), 15 ton/ha (P15), 20 ton/ha (P20), dan 25 ton/ha (P25). Variabel yang diamati meliputi dry bulk density, porositas, kadar air, dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi serta Analysis of variance (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5% serta Uji T. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dosis pupuk kandang sapi menurunkan bulk density dan meningkatkan porositas, kadar air, serta konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Analisis regresi menunjukkan hubungan linier negatif antara bulk density dengan porositas dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh, serta hubungan positif antara porositas dengan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh, dan kadar air dengan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Data 6 bulan menunjukkan tren peningkatan bulk density dan penurunan sifat fisik lainnya dibandingkan 0 bulan. Namun, hanya konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh yang berbeda nyata berdasarkan uji T.

Inggris)The use of two-wheel tractors in soil cultivation is considered more effective and efficient compared to traditional tools; however, it can lead to soil compaction, which negatively impacts plant root systems as well as water and air circulation within the soil. This study aims to (1) determine the effect of various cattle manure application rates on soil compaction levels at a depth of 0–50 cm, six months after two-wheel tractor passes, and (2) analyze the relationships among soil physical properties in response to different cattle manure application rates on soil compaction at the same depth and period. The research was conducted from August 2024 to June 2025 on agricultural land at the Agricultural Machinery Service Unit (UPJA) in Sokaraja Sub-district and at the Integrated Laboratory 1 IAB, Jenderal Soedirman University, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments included four levels of cattle manure application: 0 tons/ha (P0), 15 tons/ha (P15), 20 tons/ha (P20), and 25 tons/ha (P25). The observed variables included dry bulk density, porosity, moisture content, and saturated hydraulic conductivity. Data were analyzed using regression analysis and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significance level and a T-Test. The results showed that increasing cattle manure dosage reduced bulk density and increased porosity, moisture content, and saturated hydraulic conductivity. Regression analysis revealed a negative linear relationship between bulk density and both porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity, and a positive linear relationship between porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity, as well as between moisture content and saturated hydraulic conductivity. Six-month data showed a trend of increased bulk density and decreased other physical properties compared to zero-month data, but only saturated hydraulic conductivity differed significantly according to the T-Test.
