Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penggunaan traktor roda dua dalam pengolahan tanah dapat meningkatkan produktivitas lahan, namun berdampak negatif terhadap struktur tanah akibat pemadatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik, pupuk kimia, dan pupuk campuran terhadap tingkat pemadatan tanah pada kedalaman 0–50 cm enam bulan setelah perlintasan traktor roda dua, dan (2) menganalisis hubungan antara sifat fisik tanah terhadap pemadatan tanah akibat perlakuan pemupukan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada September 2024–Juni 2025 di Desa Karangduren, Sokaraja. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan: tanpa pupuk, pupuk organik, pupuk kimia, dan pupuk campuran, serta lima ulangan pada lima kedalaman. Variabel yang diamati meliputi dry bulk density, porositas, kadar air, dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik dan campuran menurunkan dry bulk density serta meningkatkan porositas dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Sebaliknya, pupuk kimia cenderung meningkatkan pemadatan tanah. Korelasi negatif ditemukan antara dry bulk density dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh (r = -0,693), sementara porositas dan kadar air menunjukkan korelasi positif terhadap konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh (r = 0,693 dan 0,627). Uji T menunjukkan bahwa hanya konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh yang berbeda nyata antara pengamatan 0 bulan dan 6 bulan setelah perlintasan traktor.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The use of two-wheel tractors for soil tillage can improve land productivity but negatively affects soil structure due to compaction. This study aimed to (1) determine the effects of organic fertilizer, chemical fertilizer, and mixed fertilizer on soil compaction at 0–50 cm depth six months after tractor traffic, and (2) analyze the relationship between soil physical properties and compaction under different fertilization treatments. The study was conducted from September 2024 to June 2025 in Karangduren Village, Sokaraja. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with four treatments: no fertilizer, organic fertilizer, chemical fertilizer, and mixed fertilizer, with five replications at five depths. Observed variables included dry bulk density, porosity, water content, and saturated hydraulic conductivity. The results showed that organic and mixed fertilizers reduced dry bulk density and increased porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity. In contrast, chemical fertilizer tended to increase soil compaction. A negative correlation was found between dry bulk density and saturated hydraulic conductivity (r = -0.693), while porosity and water content were positively correlated with saturated hydraulic conductivity (r = 0.693 and 0.627, respectively). T-test results indicated that only saturated hydraulic conductivity differed significantly between 0 and 6 months after tractor traffic.
