| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kontradiksi dalam representasi tokoh superhero dalam anime Sentai Daishikkaku. Kontradiksi ini muncul karena perbedaan antara pengertian superhero menurut Peter Coogan yang menyatakan bahwa superhero adalah tokoh pro-sosial yang menjunjung nilai keadilan dan norma sosial terhadap tokoh super sentai dalam anime tersebut yang justru menunjukkan sifat dan tindakan yang menyimpang dari nilai-nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk dekonstruksi terhadap tokoh Super Sentai dalam anime Sentai Daishikkaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori dekonstruksi Jacques Derrida, khususnya melalui konsep logosentrisme dan oposisi biner. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap narasi, percakapan tokoh, dan adegan visual dalam anime. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kategori utama dekonstruksi, yaitu dekonstruksi terhadap sifat dan tindakan Super Sentai. Dari segi sifat, tokoh supersentai digambarkan sebagai tokoh yang manipulatif, acuh, dan lebih mengutamakan citra diri. Dari segi tindakan, mereka justru melakukan kebohongan publik, kekerasan, dan dominasi yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai kepahlawanan yang umum. Dengan demikian, anime Sentai Daishikkaku berhasil membongkar konstruksi baku tokoh superhero melalui pendekatan dekonstruksi. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study is motivated by the contradiction in the representation of superhero characters in the anime Sentai Daishikkaku. This contradiction arises from the discrepancy between Peter Coogan’s definition of a superhero—defined as a pro-social figure who upholds justice and social norms—and the depiction of the Super Sentai characters in the anime, who display traits and actions that deviate from those values. The objective of this study is to describe the forms of deconstruction applied to the Super Sentai characters in Sentai Daishikkaku. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with Jacques Derrida’s deconstruction theory as the analytical approach, focusing specifically on the concepts of logocentrism and binary opposition. Data were collected through observation of narrative elements, character dialogues, and visual scenes in the anime. The results reveal two primary categories of deconstruction: the deconstruction of character traits and the deconstruction of actions. In terms of traits, the Super Sentai characters are portrayed as manipulative, indifferent, and image-driven. In terms of actions, they are shown engaging in public deception, violence, and dominance that contradict conventional heroic values. Thus, Sentai Daishikkaku succeeds in deconstructing the conventional image of the superhero through a critical deconstructive lens. |
