Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Kesehatan kulit perlu dijaga karena selain fungsi estetika, kulit melindungi tubuh dari radiasi UV yang dapat menyebabkan pigmentasi, penuaan dini, dan kerusakan kulit. Salah satu perlindungan yang efektif adalah penggunaan tabir surya. Pemanfaatan bahan alam dalam formulasi tabir surya terus berkembang. Bunga telang mengandung antosianin sebagai antioksidan, sementara lidah buaya berfungsi melembabkan dan meredakan kulit terbakar. Kombinasi keduanya berpotensi memberikan perlindungan sinergis terhadap sinar UV. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian untuk menghasilkan sunscreen losion yang efektif dan stabil.
Metodologi: Preparasi ekstrak bunga telang dengan maserasi dan menyisir daun lidah buaya untuk mendapatkan gel lidah buaya, dilanjutkan formulasi sediaan dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak bunga telang sebesar 1%, 3%, dan 5%. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi fisik sediaan dan stabilitas sediaan. Selain itu, kadar antosianin total dalam sediaan diukur menggunakan metode pH differensial serta dilakukan pengukuran aktivitas tabir surya menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Visibel.
Hasil Penelitian: Formulasi losion kombinasi ekstrak bunga telang dan gel lidah buaya memiliki sifat fisik yang memenuhi persyaratan. Akan tetapi, pada pengujian stabilitas dipercepat FIII mengalami creaming. Pada pengukuran kadar antosianin total, ekstrak memiliki kadar sebesar 80,66±9,98 mg/L. Sedangkan pada sediaan losion dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3%, dan 5% mengandung
rata-rata antosianin total sebesar 0,36; 1,81; 4,11 mg/L. Secara berurutan nilai SPF yang diperoleh
dari FI, FII, dan FIII yakni 17,64±6,42; 37,99±4,34; 112,48±12,96.
Kesimpulan: Formula losion dengan sifat fisik dan stabilitas yang paling baik adalah FII dengan nilai SPF sebesar 37,99. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak bunga telang, semakin tinggi kadar antosianin total dan aktivitas tabir surya yang diberikan.

Inggris)Background: Skin health needs to be maintained because in addition to its aesthetic function, the skin protects the body from UV radiation that can cause pigmentation, premature aging, and skin damage. One effective protection is the use of sunscreen. The use of natural ingredients in sunscreen formulations continues to grow. Butterfly pea flowers contain anthocyanins as antioxidants, while aloe vera functions to moisturize and relieve sunburn. The combination of the two has the potential to provide synergistic protection against UV rays. Therefore, research is needed to produce an effective and stable sunscreen lotion.
Method: Preparation of butterfly pea flower extract by maceration and combing aloe vera leaves to obtain aloe vera gel, followed by formulation of the preparation with variations in butterfly pea flower extract concentration of 1%, 3%, and 5%. Then the physical evaluation of the preparation and the stability of the preparation were carried out. In addition, the total anthocyanin content in the preparation was measured using the differential pH method and the sunscreen activity was measured using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
Results: The lotion formulation of the combination of butterfly pea flower extract and aloe vera gel has physical properties that meet the requirements. However, in the accelerated stability test, FIII experienced creaming. In the measurement of total anthocyanin levels, the extract had a level of 80,66 ± 9,98 mg/L. While the lotion preparations with concentrations of 1%, 3%, and 5% contained total anthocyanins of 0,36; 1,81; 4,11 mg/L. In sequence, the SPF values obtained from FI, FII, and FIII were 17,64 ± 6,42; 37,99 ± 4,34; 112,48 ± 12,96.
Conclusion: The lotion formula with the best physical properties and stability is FII with an SPF value of 37,99. The higher the concentration of butterfly pea flower extract, the higher the total anthocyanin content and sunscreen activity provided.
