| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Sambiloto dan lidah buaya mengandung senyawa aktif yang berperan dalam proses penyembuhan luka sayat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik sifat fisik dan stabilitas fisik serta efektivitas gel kombinasi ekstrak etanol sambiloto dan daging daun lidah buaya terhadap aktivitas penyembuhan luka sayat. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental yang meliputi pembuatan esktrak metode maserasi, formulasi gel dan uji aktivitas penyembuhan luka sayat menggunakan hewan uji tikus yang dibagi dalam enam kelompok perlakuan, meliputi kelompok kotrol negatif, kelompok gel kombinasi ekstrak etanol sambiloto (5%, 10%, 15%) dan daging daun lidah buaya (15%), kelompok kontrol positif, kelompok kontrol normal dengan melihat parameter jumlah neutrofil, limfosit, dan pembuluh darah baru. Hasil pengujian sifat fisik dan stabilitas fisik, gel yang dibuat memenuhi persyaratan, kecuali pada formula FIII (ekstrak etanol sambiloto 15% dan daging daun lidah buaya 15%) menunjukkan hasil yang tidak homogen. Pengujian secara statistik didapatkan hasil bahwa kelompok FIII efektif menyembuhkan luka sayat karena setara dengan kontrol normal dalam menurunkan jumlah neutrofil dan jumlah limfosit. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Abstract Sambiloto and aloe vera contain active compounds that play a role in the wound healing. This study aims to determine the characteristics of physical properties and physical stability as well as the effectiveness of a combination gel of sambiloto ethanol extract and aloe vera leaf flesh on the healing activity of cuts. The study was conducted experimentally which included the manufacture of maceration method extracts, gel formulation and wound healing activity tests using rats as test animals divided into six treatment groups, including a negative control group, a combination gel group of sambiloto ethanol extract (5%, 10%, 15%) and aloe vera leaf flesh (15%), a positive control group, a normal control group by looking at the parameters of the number of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and new blood vessels. The results of testing the physical properties and physical stability, the gel made met the requirements, except for the FIII formula (15% sambiloto ethanol extract and 15% aloe vera leaf flesh) showed non-homogeneous results. Statistical testing showed that the FIII group was effective in healing cuts because it was equivalent to the normal control in reducing the number of neutrophils and lymphocytes. |
