| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pada petani cabai merah di Desa Cibeureum Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini berjudul: “Faktor - Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Cabai Merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap hasil produksi cabai merah, dan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi serta untuk mengetahui efisiensi usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kabupaten Ciamis. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah petani cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kabupaten Ciamis. Jumlah responden yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden. Proportional Stratified Random Sampling digunakan dalam penentuan responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Cobb Douglas menunjukkan bahwa nilai F hitung lebih besar daripada nilai F tabel, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa seluruh faktor produksi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil produksi cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji t dapat diketahui bahwa faktor produksi tenaga kerja dan pestisida tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap produksi cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri. Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif diketahui penggunaan faktor produksi pupuk sudah efisien, sedangkan luas lahan dan bibit belum efisien hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai NPM/Px dari kedua faktor produksi tersebut lebih dari satu. Dari hasil uji efisiensi usahatani dengan menggunakan rasio R/C diperoleh nilai rata-rata R/C sebesar 2,72. Hal ini berarti usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri secara ekonomis telah efisien dan layak untuk dikembangkan. Menurut kesimpulan tersebut dapat diimplikasikan bahwa penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi dalam usahatani cabai merah hendaknya menjadi faktor yang perlu diperhatikan oleh para petani cabai merah dan diperlukannya penyuluhan rutin bagi petani terhadap kemajuan budidaya cabai merah sehingga petani tidak ketinggalan informasi dalam menggunakan faktor-faktor produksi secara tepat. Usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri perlu dikembangkan karena dapat memberikan keuntungan yang tinggi bagi para petani pada khususnya dan bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Sukamantri pada umumnya. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is the research on red chilli farmers in Cibeureum Village Sukamantri District at Ciamis Regional. The study was titled: “Factors that affect the production of red chilli pepper in Cibeureun Village Sukamantri District at Ciamis Regional”. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of production factor on outcome of red chilli production, and to find out the level of efficiency in use production factor as well as to find out the efficiency of red chilli farming in Sukamantri District at Ciamis Regional. The population of this research is red chilli farmers in Sukamantri District at Ciamis Regional. The total of respondent in this research is 40 respondents. Proportional Stratified Random sampling used to determine the respondent. According to the result of Cobb Douglas analysis show that F statistics is greater than F table, so the conclusion all of production factor has significant influence simultaneously on outcome of red chilli production in Sukamantri District. Whereas, according to t test known that the factor of labour production and pesticide has no significant influence partially on red chilli production in Sukamantri District. The result of the analysis of allocative efficiency known to use of fertilizer production factor, while the area of land and seed yet efficient. It shows the value of NPM/Px of both factors of productions is more than one. The result of efficiency test of labour that use R/C ratio obtained the averaged value of R/C is 2,72. It means Red Chilli labour in Sukamantri District has efficient economically and feasible to improved. According to conclusion above able to implicate that the use of factors of production on red chilli labour should be a factor to be considered by chilli farmers and regular counselling needed for farmers on progress of red chilli cultivation. So, farmers do not miss the information in use the factors of production accurately. Red chilli labour in Sukamantri District is need to improve, because able to give high profit for farmers in particular and society of Sukamantri District in general. |
