Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Perubahan gaya hidup di era globalisasi menyebabkan peningkatan Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM), salah satunya hipertensi. Hipertensi banyak ditemukan pada kelompok pekerja, terutama pekerja sektor formal. PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi, perusahaan manufaktur makanan di Sokaraja, memiliki prevalensi pekerja produksi dengan tekanan darah di atas normal mencapai 58%. Terdapat beberapa faktor risiko hipertensi yaitu riwayat hipertensi di keluarga, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), kebiasaan merokok, paparan asap rokok, aktivitas fisik, beban kerja fisik, stres kerja, dan asupan natrium. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada pekerja produksi. Metodologi: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah 56 pekerja produksi di PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 56 pekerja produksi dengan teknik total sampling. Analisis data univariat dan analisis bivariat. Hasil Penelitian: Variabel berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada pekerja produksi di PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja adalah riwayat hipertensi di keluarga (p=0,000), IMT (p=0,020), paparan asap rokok (p= 0,028), aktivitas fisik (p=0,000), dan stres kerja (p=0,003). Variabel tidak berhubungan adalah kebiasaan merokok (p=0,308), beban kerja fisik (p=0,510), dan Asupan Natrium (p=0,340). Kesimpulan: Variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada pekerja produksi di PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja adalah riwayat hipertensi di keluarga, IMT, aktivitas fisik, dan stres kerja. Pekerja perlu rutin periksa tekanan darah, meningkatkan aktivitas fisik, menjaga komunikasi kerja yang sehat, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja bebas asap rokok untuk mencegah hipertensi.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Lifestyle changes in the era of globalization have led to an increase in Non- Communicable Diseases (NCDs) including hypertension. Hypertension is commonly found among workers, particularly in the formal sector. At PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi, a food manufacturing company in Sokaraja, 58% of production workers were found to have above-normal blood pressure. Risk factors for hypertension include a family history of hypertension, body mass index (BMI), smoking habits, exposure to cigarette smoke, physical activity, physical workload, work-related stress, and sodium intake. This study aims to identify factors associated with hypertension among production workers. Methods: This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 56 production workers at PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja, all of whom were included using total sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods. Results: Factors significantly associated with hypertension among production workers at PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja included a family history of hypertension (p=0,000), BMI (p=0,020), exposure to cigarette smoke (p=0,028), physical activity (p=0,000), and work-related stress (p=0,003). Conclusion: A family history of hypertension, BMI, physical activity, and work-related stress are factors associated with hypertension among production workers at PT Brasil Sahitya Abadi Sokaraja. Workers are advised to regularly monitor their blood pressure, increase physical activity, maintain healthy workplace communication, and establishing a smoke-free work environment to prevent hypertension.
