Indonesia) | PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI PADA PEKERJA PABRIK SENTRA INDUSTRI TAHU KALISARI TERHADAP TIMBULNYA DERMATITIS KONTAK AKIBAT KERJA Aulia Dyah Febrianti 1, Lilik Karsono 2, Nendyah Roestijawati 3 ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Sebagai sektor industri informal, industri tahu memiliki ciri yaitu dapat menimbulkan risiko bahaya pekerjaan yang tinggi, rendahnya perhatian terhadap pelayanan kesehatan, rendahnya kesadaran terhadap faktor risiko kesehatan kerja, dan jam kerja yang panjang. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan dan perilaku penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak akibat kerja pada pekerja tahu Kalisari. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2013. Jumlah responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi adalah 101. Data penelitian bersumber dari kuesioner, pemeriksaan klinis, dan data desa Kalisari. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan cara total sampling. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji bivariat chi square. Hasil : Prevalensi DKAK pada pekerja tahu Kalisari adalah 84,2%. Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh pengetahuan pemakaian APD dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak akibat kerja pada pekerja industri tahu Kalisari dengan nilai p 0,755 x2 hitung 0,097 (IK 95%). Sebanyak 100 % responden memiliki perilaku pemakaian alat pelindung diri tidak baik. Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat pengaruh pengetahuan pemakaian alat pelindung diri pada pekerja sentra industri tahu desa Kalisari dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak akibat kerja pada pekerja sentra industri tahu Kalisari. Sebanyak 100 % responden penelitian memiliki perilaku pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri yang tidak baik. Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Perilaku Alat Pelindung Diri, Dermatitis Kontak Akibat Kerja (DKAK) 1. Inggris) | THE INFLUENCE OF KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ON FACTORY WORKERS OF TOFU INDUSTRIAL CENTER ON KALISARI TO THE OCCURRENCE OF OCCUPATIONAL CONTACT DERMATITIS Aulia Dyah Febrianti 1, Lilik Karsono 2, Nendyah Roestijawati 3 ABSTRACT Background: As an informal sector industry, the industry of tofu Kalisari characterized by high risk of occupational hazards, lack of attention to health care, lack of awareness of health risk factors, and long working hour. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of knowledge and behavior use personal protective equipment to occurrence occupational contact dermatitis to the factory workers of tofu industrial center Kalisari Methods: This is an observational analytic with cross-sectional design. The study was conducted in February-Maret 2013. The number of respondents was101 based on inclusion criterias. Research data were sourced from questioner, clinical examination, and data Kalisari’s village. The research samples were obtained by total sampling. Statistical analysis used was bivariate chi-square test. Results: The prevalence of OCD in workers tofu Kalisari was 84.2%. The results of chi-square test showed there wasn’t an effect of knowledge and behavior use personal protective equipment to the occurrence of OCD to the factory workers tofu Kalisari with p0,755, x2value 0,097(CI 95%). All of respondents own behavior and the using Personal Protective Equipment wasn’t good. Conclusion: There wasn’t an effect of knowledge and behavior use personal protective equipment to occurrence of occupational contact dermatitis to the factory workers industrial center tofu Kalisari.
