| Judul Artikel | Georgia Miller's Murderous Acts in Ginny & Georgia (2021): An Extreme Portrayal of Narcissistic Personality Disorder |

| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara gangguan kepribadian narsistik (Narcissistic Personality Disorder/NPD) dengan tindakan pembunuhan yang dilakukan secara sadar oleh karakter Georgia Miller dalam serial Netflix *Ginny & Georgia* (2021). Melalui teori psikologi sastra, khususnya teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud dan teori narsisme Heinz Kohut, artikel penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana kebutuhan Georgia untuk mempertahankan citra diri yang ideal dan kendali mutlak atas lingkungannya mendorongnya untuk melakukan pembunuhan terhadap Anthony Green, Kenny Drexel, dan Tom Fuller. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengamatan terhadap adegan-adegan relevan dalam serial *Ginny & Georgia* (2021). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindakan pembunuhan yang dilakukan Georgia bukan sekadar bentuk perlindungan sebagai seorang ibu, melainkan ekspresi dari gangguan kepribadian narsistik yang ekstrem, dominasi dorongan id yang impulsif, superego yang lemah, serta kurangnya empati. Georgia menunjukkan ciri khas penderita NPD seperti keagungan diri (grandiosity), manipulasi, dan kecenderungan menyimpang demi mempertahankan kendali dan citra diri. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa gangguan kepribadian narsistik dapat memengaruhi individu untuk melakukan tindakan kriminal ekstrem tanpa rasa bersalah, serta memberikan gambaran pentingnya representasi gangguan kepribadian dalam karya sastra modern sebagai refleksi dari fenomena psikologis yang kompleks. |

Inggris) | This article aims to analyze the relationship between narcissistic personality disorder and the act of murder committed consciously by the character Georgia Miller in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021). Through the theory of literary psychology, especially Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory and Heinz Kohut's narcissism theory, this research article focuses on how Georgia's need to maintain an ideal self-image and absolute control over her surroundings then drove her to commit the murders of Anthony Green, Kenny Drexel, and Tom Fuller. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observations of relevant scenes contained in the series Ginny & Georgia (2021). The results of the study show that Georgia's act of murder is not just a form of protection as a mother, but rather an expression of an extreme narcissistic personality, impulsive id dominance, weak superego, and lack of empathy. Georgia shows typical characteristics of NPD sufferers such as grandiosity, manipulation and a tendency to deviate to maintain control and self-image. This article concludes that narcissistic personality disorder can influence individuals to commit extreme criminal acts without feeling guilty, and provides an overview of the importance of the representation of personality disorders in modern literary works as a reflection of complex psychological phenomena. |
