Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penyakit hawar daun bakteri (HDB) disebabkan oleh patogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). Alternatif pengendalian pengganti pestisida kimia untuk mengendalikan HDB yaitu dengan menggunakan ekstrak tanaman. Kencur (Kaempferia galanga) memiliki senyawa anti bakterial yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri. Biopestisida dihadapkan dengan kelemahan berupa senyawa bioaktif dalam ekstrak biopestisida yang mudah rusak oleh lingkungan. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan penerapan nanoemulsi dalam pembuatan biopestisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kombinasi ekstrak tanaman kencur dan limbah minyak nilam sebagai bahan baku biopestisida cair berbasis nanoemulsi, mengetahui komposisi biopestisida berbasis nanoemulsi terbaik yang dapat dikembangkan untuk menekan perkembangan HDB, dan mengetahui pengaruh biopestisida nanoemulsi terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman padi. Variabel yang diamati yaitu komponen patosistem berupa masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, AUDPC, serta komponen agronomi berupa tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, kehijauan daun, bobot basah tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot basah tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA pada taraf 95%, hasil yang menunjukkan pengaruh nyata, dilanjutkan DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi biopestisida nanoemulsi Formula 1 dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku biopestisida berbasis nanoemulsi, dilihat dari hasil uji homogenitas, uji pH, uji stabilitas, uji ukuran partikel, dan uji daya hambat formula biopestisida nanoemulsi terhadap Xoo secara in vitro. Biopestisida nanoemulsi Formula 1 dapat dikembangkan untuk menekan penyakit HDB dilihat dari variabel masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, & AUDPC. Biopestisida Nanoemulsi Formula 1 Perlakuan K4 memiliki kemampuan meningkatkan pertumbuhan berdasarkan variabel bobot basah tanaman, bobot basah tajuk, & bobot basah akar.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Bacterial leaf blight (BLB) is caused by the pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). An alternative control method to replace chemical pesticides for managing HDB is by using plant extracts.Kencur (Kaempferia galanga) has antibacterial compounds that can inhibit bacterial growth.Biopesticides face a weakness in the form of bioactive compounds in biopesticide extracts that are easily degraded by the environment.This can be addressed by applying nanoemulsion in the production of biopesticides.This research aims to determine the combination of kencur plant extract and patchouli oil waste as raw materials for nanoemulsion-based liquid biopesticides, to identify the best composition of nanoemulsion-based biopesticides that can be developed to suppress the development of HDB, and to examine the effect of the best nanoemulsion biopesticides on rice plant growth.The observed variables include pathosystem components such as incubation period, disease intensity, infection rate, AUDPC, as well as agronomic components such as plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf greenness, fresh weight of the plant, dry weight of the plant, fresh weight of the canopy, dry weight of the canopy, fresh weight of the roots, and dry weight of the roots.Data were analyzed using ANOVA at a 95% significance level, and results showing significant effects were followed by DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) at a 5% error level.The research results indicate that the combination of nanoemulsion biopesticide Formula 1 can be used as a raw material for nanoemulsion-based biopesticides, as seen from the results of the homogeneity test, pH test, stability test, particle size test, and the inhibitory power test of the nanoemulsion biopesticide formula against Xoo in vitro.Nanoemulsion biopesticide Formula 1 can be developed to suppress HDB disease as seen from the variables of incubation period, disease intensity, and AUDPC.Nanoemulsion Biopesticide Formula 1 K4 Treatment has the ability to enhance growth based on the variables of fresh weight of the plant, fresh weight of the canopy, and fresh weight of the roots.
