Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Melon (Cucumis melo L.) banyak diminati masyarakat Indonesia dan permintaan melon meningkat tahun ke tahun mengikuti pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk. Hidroponik sistem irigasi tetes dipilih sebagai salah satu cara meningkatkan produktivitas melon dengan jangka waktu yang lebih cepat. Pupuk organik urine kelinci kaya akan unsur hara terutama unsur N untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman, pemberian pupuk organik cair urine kelinci diperkaya berbagai bahan organik, yaitu daun kipahit, daun trembesi dan tanaman azolla. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi pupuk organik cair urine kelinci terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman melon, serta mengetahui pupuk organik cair urine kelinci yang terbaik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman melon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial, perlakuan yang dilakukan meliputi: Kontrol tanpa POC urine kelinci; POC urine kelinci; POC urine kelinci + daun kipahit; POC urine kelinci + daun trembesi; POC urine kelinci + tanaman azolla. POC urine kelinci+trembesi memberikan hasil terbaik pada perlakuan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun 29 HST; 43 HST; 57 HST; 71 HST, dan luas daun 71 HST. Perlakuan pupuk organik cair urine kelinci+azolla memberikan hasil terbaik pada jumlah daun 15 HST, luas daun 15 HST dan 43 HST, diameter batang 29 HST, dan bobot buah. Perlakuan kontrol memberikan hasil terbaik pada kadar klorofil total fase generatif.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Melon (Cucumis melo L.) is in high demand among Indonesians and the demand for melons is increasing year by year following the population growth. Hydroponic drip irrigation system was chosen as one of the ways to increase melon productivity with a faster period of time. Rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer is rich in nutrients, especially N to support plant growth, the application of rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer is enriched with various organic materials, namely kipahit leaves, trembesi leaves and azolla plants. This study aims to determine the effect of rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer application on the growth and yield of melon plants, as well as to determine the best rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of melon plants. This research was conducted using a non-factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) method, the treatments included: Control without rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer; rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer; rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer + kipahit leaves; rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer + trembesi leaves; rabbit urine organic liquid fertilizer + azolla plants. Rabbit urine + trembesi gave the best results in the treatment of plant height, number of leaves 29 HST; 43 HST; 57 HST; 71 HST, and leaf area 71 HST. The rabbit urine +azolla liquid organic fertilizer treatment gave the best results on the number of leaves 15 HST, leaf area 15 HST and 43 HST, stem diameter 29 HST, and fruit weight. The control treatment gave the best results on total chlorophyll content in the generative phase.
