| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kompas.com menyadari hadirnya AI menjadi sebuah persoalan dalam proses redaksi dan etika penggunaan AI pada karya jurnalistik, proses pengunaan AI membuat pergeseran redaksi, perlindungan karya jurnalistik dan transparansi sumber berita untuk publik. Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) pada Industri Media Digital Pemberitaan Kompas.com”. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Transformation Media dan teori Social Construction of Technology (SCoT). Metode penelitian ini melalui pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan model penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya aktivitas penggunaan AI pada redaksi Kompas.com yang dihasilkan dari Predictive AI dan Neuro Linguistik Program (NLP) yang tersimpan pada Content Manajemen System (CMS News). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Jurnalis Kompas.com menyadari hadirnya AI dapat memberikan dampak pada proses redaksi dan tetap diperlukan pengawasan manusia. AI dapat memberikan ide yang tak terbatas, membantu produktivitas kerja dan menigkatkan kemampuan jurnalis dalam mengunakan teknologi AI, namun hadirnya AI juga ditemukan kekurangan serta tantangan, seperti regulasi yang belum menjawab persoalan etika pengunaan AI, kesalahan konteks pada AI, kerugian pengelolaan, hingga trasnparansi sumber berita, hal ini terjadi atas transformasi media teknologi yang terus berevolusi serta cara media Kompas.com untuk bertahan di era digital. Kompas.com menerapkan proses adaptasi dan persiapan secara bertahap serta memaknai kontruksi sosial teknologi (SCoT) berdasarkan tahapan perencanaan, kebutuhan, pihak yang terikat, pemberian keterampilan untuk jurnalis, dan regulasi pemerintah. |

Inggris) | Kompas.com realizes that the presence of AI has become a problem in the editorial process and the ethics of using AI in journalistic works, the process of using AI creates a shift in editorial, protection of journalistic works and transparency of news sources for the public. This study is entitled "Analysis of the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Digital Media Industry of Kompas.com News". This study uses the Transformation Media theory and the Social Construction of Technology (SCoT) theory. This research method uses a constructivist approach with a qualitative research model. The selection of informants in this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely Kompas.com Journalists who have represented journalists from articles, videos, social media and news programs. The results of the study indicate that there is AI usage activity in the Kompas.com editorial team resulting from Predictive AI and Neuro Linguistic Program (NLP) stored in the Content Management System (CMS News). This study found that Kompas.com Journalists are aware that the presence of AI can have an impact on the editorial process and human supervision is still needed. AI can provide unlimited ideas, help work productivity and improve journalists' abilities in using AI technology, but the presence of AI also found shortcomings and challenges, such as regulations that have not answered the ethical issues of using AI, contextual errors in AI, management losses, to transparency of news sources, this occurs due to the transformation of technology media that continues to evolve and how Kompas.com media survives in the digital era. Kompas.com implements a gradual adaptation and preparation process and interprets the social construction of technology (SCoT) based on planning stages, needs, parties involved, providing skills for journalists, and government regulations |
