| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kabupaten Kebumen merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang ada di Jawa Tengah dengan populasi sapi potong PO terbanyak. Kabupaten Kebumen telah ditetapkan sebagai kabupaten sentra sapi potong PO. Penelitian dilakukan di enam kecamatan dengan populasi sapi potong PO tertinggi di Kabupaten Kebumen meliputi, Kecamatan Puring, Kecamatan Mirit, Kecamatan Ambal, Kecamatan Petanahan, Kecamatan Klirong, dan Kecamatan Buluspesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan dan umur peternak sapi potong PO Kebumen, mengetahui adopsi teknologi peternakan sapi potong PO Kebumen, dan mengetahui hubungan antara pendidikan dan umur peternak dengan adopsi teknologi peternakan sapi potong PO Kebumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey, penentuan lokasi penelitian berdasarkan purposive sampling, sedangkan untuk menentukan 96 responden menggunakan simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendidikan dan umur peternak sapi potong PO Kebumen bervariasi mulai dari yang berpendidikan tinggi hingga pendidikan rendah dengan umur peternak yang beragam mulai dari muda hingga tua. Pendidikan peternak sapi potong PO Kebumen rata-rata 9,41 tahun sedangkan rata-rata umur peternak 47,03 tahun yang termasuk dalam usia produktif. Peternak sapi potong PO Kebumen sebagian memiliki tingkat adopsi teknologi peternakan yang cukup tinggi dalam menjalankan usaha peternakannya. Adopsi teknologi yang sudah diterapkan oleh peternak adalah manajemen kandang sedangkan adopsi teknologi yang belum diterapkan adalah pembuatan pakan silase dan recording ternak. Pendidikan dan umur peternak memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan adopsi teknologi peternakan sapi potong PO Kebumen. Pendidikan berkorelasi positif dengan adopsi teknologi peternakan sapi potong PO Kebumen yang artinya semakin tinggi pendidikan maka tingkat adopsi teknologi peternakan semakin tinggi, sedangkan umur peternak berkorelasi negatif dengan adopsi teknologi peternakan sapi potong PO Kebumen yang artinya semakin tua umur peternak maka tingkat adopsi teknologi peternakan semakin rendah. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Kebumen Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java with the largest PO beef cattle population. Kebumen Regency has been designated as a PO beef cattle center district. The study was conducted in six sub-districts with the highest PO beef cattle population in Kebumen Regency, including Puring District, Mirit District, Ambal District, Petanahan District, Klirong District, and Buluspesantren District. This study aims to determine the education and age of PO Kebumen beef cattle farmers, to determine the adoption of PO Kebumen beef cattle farming technology, and to determine the relationship between education and age of farmers with the adoption of PO Kebumen beef cattle breeder technology. The method used is a survey, the determination of the research location is based on purposive sampling, while to determine 96 respondents using simple random sampling. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and spearman rank correlation analysis. The results of the study showed that the education and age of PO Kebumen beef cattle bredeer vary from highly educated to low educated with a variety of farmer ages ranging from young to old. The average education of PO Kebumen beef cattle farmers is 9.41 years while the average age of breeder is 47.03 years which is included in the productive age. Some PO Kebumen beef cattle breeder have a fairly high level of adoption of livestock technology in running their livestock business. The adoption of technology that has been applied by bredeer is pen management while the adoption of technology that has not been applied is the manufacture of silage feed and livestock recording. The education and age of bredeer have a significant relationship with the adoption of PO Kebumen beef cattle breeder technology. Education is positively correlated with the adoption of PO Kebumen beef cattle breeder technology, which means that the higher the education, the higher the adoption of livestock technology, while the age of farmers is negatively correlated with the adoption of PO Kebumen beef cattle breeder technology, which means that the older the bredeer, the lower the adoption of livestock technology. |
