| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Berkembangnya teknologi dan minat masyarakat terhadap film telah mendorong banyak novel populer untuk diadaptasi menjadi film melalui proses ekranisasi, seperti yang terjadi pada novel Ali Topan karya Teguh Esha yang difilmkan oleh Visinema Pictures pada tahun 2024. Namun, adaptasi ini menimbulkan berbagai perubahan berujung pada kurangnya penonton, sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian isi antara novel dan filmnya berdasarkan teori ekranisasi oleh Pamusuk Eneste. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis proses ekranisasi novel Ali Topan karya Teguh Esha ke dalam film Ali Topan produksi Visinema Pictures. Metode penelitian yang digunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif antara teks novel dan film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses ekranisasi mengalami berbagai bentuk perubahan, termasuk penciutan, penambahan, perubahan bervariasi dalam unsur alur, tokoh, penokohan, dan latar. Temuan penelitian ini adalah adaptasi novel ke film tidak hanya menyesuaikan narasi ke visual, tetapi juga penyesuaian kreatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan visual dan durasi film, dan tetap mempertahankan esensi cerita asli. |

Inggris) | The development of technology and public interest in films has encouraged many popular novels to be adapted into films through the process of ecranization, as happened in the novel Ali Topan by Teguh Esha which was filmed by Visinema Pictures. Esha which was filmed by Visinema Pictures in 2024. However, this adaptation caused various changes leading to a lack of audience, so this research was conducted to analyze the suitability of the content between the novel and the film based on the theory of ecranization by Pamusuk Eneste. The purpose of the research is to analyze the process of ecranization of Ali Topan novel by Teguh Esha into Ali Topan film produced by Visinema Pictures. The research method used is comparative descriptive analysis between the text of the novel and the film. The result of the research The results showed that the process of ecranization experienced various forms of change, including shrinkage, addition, and varied changes in the elements of plot, character, characterization, and setting. The finding of this study is that the adaptation of novels to films is not only adjusting the narrative to the visual, but also creative adjustments to meet the visual and duration needs of the film, and still maintain the essence of the original story. |
