| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi terkait Pemilu 2024 menimbulkan reaksi pro dan kontra yang tercermin dalam pemberitaan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough, khususnya dimensi tekstual, untuk mengkaji unsur representasi, relasi, dan identitas dalam berita pro dan kontra di BBC News Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa media membentuk persepsi publik melalui representasi aktor politik, membangun relasi antar pihak, dan menciptakan identitas kelompok dalam wacana. Selain itu, temuan ini menunjukkan potensi materi berita sebagai sumber pengayaan debat Bahasa Indonesia di SMA, khususnya dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analisis teks. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The Constitutional Court's decision related to the 2024 election caused pro and con reactions reflected in media reports. This study uses Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis theory, especially the textual dimension, to examine the elements of representation, relationships, and identity in pro and con news on BBC News Indonesia. The method used is content analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the study revealed that the media shapes public perception through the representation of political actors, builds relationships between parties, and creates group identities in discourse. In addition, these findings show the potential of news material as a source of enrichment of Indonesian debate in high school, especially in the development of critical thinking skills and text analysis. |
