Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat pravalensi nematodiasis, mengetahui jenis cacing nematoda, dan Menganalisis penggunaan albendazole pada kasus nematodiasis dombaa dan kambing di Experimental Farm Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Desember 2024 – 9 Januari 2025 di Experimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu convenience sampling dan dilanjutkan dengan uji laboratorium menggunakan uji apung dan Mc Master.
Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 25 sampel, yang terdiri dari 5 ekor Domba Ekor Gemuk, 5 ekor domba Saanen, 5 ekor domba Peranakan Ettawah, 5 ekor domba Sapera, dan 5 ekor domba Kacang. Sampel fases domba dan kambing kemudian diperiksa di Laboratorium Kesehatan Hewan Tipe B, Kabupaten Banyumas secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan metode apung dan Mc Master. Variabel penelitian yang diamati yaitu persentase prevalensi nematodiasis dan jenis nematoda pada ternak domba dan kambing. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji T. Hasil identifikasi nematoda menunjukan bahwa terdapat 8 jenis nematoda yang menginfeksi ternak domba dan kambing di Experimental Farm, di antaranya Ostertagia sp, Trichuris sp, Strongyle sp, Cooperia sp, Haemonchus sp, Oesophagustomum sp, Bunostomum sp, dan Tricostrongyle Sp. Prevalensi nematodiasis pada domba dan kambing di Experimental Farm sebelum pengobatan sebesar 96% dan hari ke-15 setelah pengobatan sebesar 56%. Hasil uji t untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian albendazole pada kejadian nematodiasis menunjukan hasil (P<0,01) dengan t hitung > t tabel 0,01 sehingga diambil kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pemberian albendazole berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap kasus nematodiasis pada ternak domba dan kambing di Experimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman.

The study was conducted to determine the prevalence rate of nematodiasis, identify the types of nematode worms, and analyze the use of albendazole in nematodiasis cases of sheep and goats at the Experimental Farm of Jenderal Soedirman University. This research was conducted from December 9, 2024 to January 9, 2025 at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling followed by laboratory tests using flotation and Mc Master tests.
The number of samples taken was 25 samples , consisting of 5 Fat-tailed Sheep, 5 Saanen Sheep, 5 Etawah Crossbred Sheep, 5 Sapera Sheep, and 5 Kacang Sheep. These samples were then qualitatively and quantitatively examined at the Animal Health Laboratory Type B, Banyumas Regency, using the flotation and McMaster methods. The research variables observed were the percentage of nematodiasis prevalence and the types of nematodes present in the sheep. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and T-tests. The nematode identification results revealed eight different species of nematodes infecting the sheep at the Experimental Farm, namely Ostertagia sp, Trichuris sp, Strongyle sp, Cooperia sp, Haemonchus sp, Oesophagostomum sp, Bunostomum sp, and Tricostrongyle sp. The prevalence of nematodiasis in sheep at the Experimental Farm before treatment was 96%, and 15 days after treatment, it was 56%. The results of the t-test to determine the effect of albendazole administration on the incidence of nematodiasis showed a significant difference (P<0.01), with the calculated t-value being greater than the t-table value at 0.01. Therefore, this study concluded that albendazole administration had a highly significant effect on nematodiasis cases in sheep at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University.
