| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Kanker serviks uteri merupakan pertumbuhan abnormal sel yang terjadi pada bagian bawah rahim yang tersusun atas stroma dan epitel yang terhubung dengan vagina. Terdapat 36.964 kasus kanker serviks uteri pada tahun 2022 di Indonesia dan jumlahnya diperkirakan akan terus meningkat hingga 41.775 kasus di tahun 2030. Salah satu tatalaksana medikamentosa yang dapat diberikan adalah kemoterapi dengan regimen Paclitaxel-Carboplatin. Namun penggunaan regimen ini juga dapat menimbulkan efek samping berupa penurunan Jumlah leukosit dalam darah. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perubahan Jumlah leukosit setelah menjalani kemoterapi neoadjuvant siklus I dengan regimen paclitaxel-carboplatin pada pasien kanker serviks stadium IIB-IIIB di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 59 responden dengan metode total sampling. Pengaruh kemoterapi neoadjuvant siklus I dengan regimen paclitaxel-carboplatin terhadap Jumlah leukosit pada pasien kanker serviks stadium IIB-IIIB dinilai berdasarkan hasil rekam medis. Hasil: Terdapat penurunan Jumlah leukosit pada pasien kanker serviks stadium IIB-IIIB setelah menjalani kemoterapi siklus I dengan regimen paclitaxel-carboplatin, dengan rerata penrunan sebesar 3505 sel/µL. Hasil uji paired simple t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai yang signifikan antara Jumlah leukosit sebelum dan setelah menjalani kemoterapi siklus I dengan regimen paclitaxel-carboplatin pada pasien kanker serviks stadium IIB-IIIB dengan p-value <0,01. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan signifikan rerata Jumlah leukosit sebelum dan sesudah kemoterapi neoadjuvant siklus I dengan regimen paclitaxel-carboplatin terhadap Jumlah leukosit pada pasien kanker serviks stadium IIB-IIIB di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Cervical cancer is an abnormal growth of cells that occurs in the lower part of the uterus, composed of stroma and epithelium connected to the vagina. In Indonesia there were 36,964 cases of cervical cancer in 2022 and this number is expected to rise to 41,775 cases by 2030. One of the pharmacological treatments that can be administered is chemotherapy with the Paclitaxel-Carboplatin regimen. However, the use of this regimen may also cause side effects, including a reduction in leukocyte levels in the blood. Objective: To assess changes in leukocyte levels following first cycle of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with the paclitaxel-carboplatin regimen in patients with stage IIB-IIIB cervical cancer at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital Methods: This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study consists of 59 respondents, selected using the total sampling method. The effect first cycle of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with the paclitaxel-carboplatin regimen on leukocyte levels in patients with stage IIB-IIIB cervical cancer was assessed based on medical record data. Results: There was a decrease in leukocytes with an average of 3505 cells/µL in patients with stage IIB-IIIB cervical cancer after undergoing first cycle of chemotherapy with the paclitaxel-carboplatin regimen. The results of the paired samples t-test showed a significant difference in leukocyte levels before and after first cycle of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with the paclitaxel-carboplatin regimen in patients with stage IIB-IIIB cervical cancer, with a p-value of <0.01. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the mean leukocyte levels before and after cycle I of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with the paclitaxel-carboplatin regimen in patients with stage IIB-IIIB cervical cancer at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital. |
