Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Disposition critical thinking merupakan kecenderungan yang mendukung pengembangan kemampuan critical thinking yang merupakan salah satu konsep penting dalam bidang keperawatan. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa keperawatan memiliki disposition critical thinking yang kurang optimal. Salah satu metode yang dapat mengembangkan disposition critical thinking adalah Case Based Learning (CBL), sebuah metode pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat menstimulasi keterampilan critical thinking. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran disposition critical thinking dalam metode belajar Case Based Learning (CBL) pada mahasiswa keperawatan Unsoed.
Metodologi: Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, melibatkan 266 mahasiswa keperawatan Unsoed yang dipilih dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Critical Thinking Disposition Scale (CTDS) yang disebarkan dalam bentuk google form dan kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis univariat.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa responden berusia antara 17 hingga 25 tahun, dengan mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan, dan berasal dari angkatan 2023 dan 2024. Sebanyak 159 mahasiswa (59,8%) memiliki disposition critical thinking kategori tinggi, 97 mahasiswa (36,5%) kategori sedang, dan 10 mahasiswa (3,8%) kategori rendah.
Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa keperawatan Unsoed memiliki disposition critical thinking yang tinggi dengan menggunakan metode Case Based Learning (CBL).
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Critical thinking disposition is a tendency that supports the development of critical
thinking skills, which is one of the important concepts in the nursing field. Several studies have
shown that nursing students have a less than optimal critical thinking disposition. One method that
can develop critical thinking disposition is Case Based Learning (CBL), an interactive learning
method that can stimulate critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to identify the
description of critical thinking disposition in the Case Based Learning (CBL) learning method for
Unsoed undergraduate nursing students.
Methodology: Quantitative descriptive research with a cross sectional approach, involving 266
Unsoed nursing students selected by stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected
through the Critical Thinking Disposition Scale (CTDS) questionnaire distributed in the form of
google form and then processed using univariate analysis.
Results: The results showed that the respondents were between 17 and 25 years old, with the majority
being female, and came from the class of 2023 and 2024. A total of 159 students (59.8%) have a
critical thinking disposition in the high category, 97 students (36.5%) in the medium category, and 10
students (3.8%) in the low category.
Conclusion: This study shows that the majority of Unsoed nursing students have a high critical
thinking disposition by using the Case Based Learning (CBL) method.
