| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pertumbuhan dan produktivitas padi sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan hara tanah, termasuk Nitrogen sebagai unsur hara makro esensial. Nitrogen berperan penting dalam pembentukan organ vegetatif dan sintesis protein, yang mendukung peningkatan kualitas gabah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan nitrogen, hubungan antara ketersediaan nitrogen, serapan nitrogen, dan hasil tanaman padi, serta memberikan rekomendasi pemupukan N pada lahan sawah di Kecamatan Ajibarang Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode survei dan pemetaan tanah semi detail. Titik pengambilan sampel ditentukan melalui metode transek berdasarkan Peta SLH dengan SLH 1 memiliki jenis tanah Kompleks Mediteran Merah dan Litosol dan kemiringan datar serta SLH 2 memiliki jenis tanah Latosol Coklat Kemerahan dan kemiringan datar. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan secara purposive random sampling pada kedalaman 0-25 cm dan 25-50 cm. Sampel tanaman padi diambil dari bagian daun dan gabah. Variabel yang diamati meliputi pH H2O, pH KCl, DHL, potensial redoks, KTK, KB, N-tersedia, N-total, serapan N, dan hasil tanaman padi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada SLH 1, nilai N-tersedia 71,43 ppm (sangat rendah) dan N-total 0,38% (sedang) serta pada SLH 2, N-tersedia 73,34 ppm (sangat rendah) dan N-total 0,37% (sedang). Analisis regresi menunjukkan serapan nitrogen gabah per rumpun memiliki hubungan terkuat dengan hasil tanaman (R²=0,4353), diikuti oleh N-total tanah (R²=0,4136), dan serapan nitrogen gabah per malai (R²=0,3385). Rekomendasi pemupukan nitrogen pada sawah di Kecamatan Ajibarang 78,3-208,8 kg pupuk N/ha setara 170,22-453,91 kg pupuk urea/ha pada SLH 1 dan 113,1-165,3 kg pupuk N/ha setara 245,87-359,35 kg pupuk urea/ha pada SLH 2. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The growth and productivity of rice are significantly influenced by the availability of soil nutrients, including nitrogen as an essential macronutrient. Nitrogen plays a crucial role in the formation of vegetative organs and protein synthesis, which supports the improvement of rice grain quality. This study aims to determine the availability of nitrogen, examine the relationship between nitrogen availability, nitrogen uptake, and rice yield, and establish Nitrogen fertilization recommendations for paddy fields in Ajibarang Sub-district, Banyumas Regency. The research was conducted using a survey method and semi-detailed soil mapping. Sampling points were determined using the transect method based on a Land Suitability Map (SLH) where SLH 1 consists of Complex Red Mediterranean and Litosol soils with a flat slope, while SLH 2 consists of Reddish Brown Latosol soil with a flat slope. Soil samples were collected using purposive random sampling at depths of 0-25 cm and 25-50 cm. Rice plant samples were taken from the leaves and grains. Observed variables included pH H2O, pH KCl, EC, redox potential, CEC, base saturation, available N, total N, nitrogen uptake, and rice yield. The results showed that in SLH 1, available nitrogen was 71.43 ppm (very low), and total nitrogen was 0.38% (moderate), while in SLH 2, available nitrogen was 73.34 ppm (very low), and total nitrogen was 0.37% (moderate). Regression analysis indicated that nitrogen uptake in grains per clump had the strongest relationship with yield (R² = 0.4353), followed by total nitrogen in soil (R² = 0.4136) and nitrogen uptake in grains per panicle (R² = 0.3385). The recommended nitrogen fertilization for paddy fields in Ajibarang District ranges from 78.3–208.8 kg N fertilizer/ha, equivalent to 170.22–453.91 kg urea/ha in SLH 1, and 113.1–165.3 kg N fertilizer/ha, equivalent to 245.87–359.35 kg urea/ha in SLH 2. |
