| Judul Artikel | Determinants Affecting Woman Labor Force Participation in Six Urban Areas of Central Java Province During the Period 2016-2023 |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | This study aims to analyze the impact of the number of productive-age women, Average Length of Schooling (RLS), Regional Minimum Wage (UMR), and Gender Development Index (IPG) on the Female Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in six urban areas of Central Java Province during the period from 2016 to 2023. The analytical method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results indicate that the number of productive-age women has a negative and insignificant effect on TPAK. Conversely, RLS has a negative and significant impact, suggesting that an increase in RLS will lead to a decrease in TPAK. Both UMR and IPG, however, show a positive and significant effect on TPAK, where increases in both will enhance women's participation in the labor force. Overall, these variables collectively influence TPAK. The implications of this study highlight the need to improve the quality of human resources and create job opportunities that align with women's education levels. |
