| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat dalam film Barbie 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tipe tindak tutur ekspresif beserta fungsinya yang digunakan oleh Margot Barbie. Peneliti menggunakan teori dari Searle (1979) untuk mengklasifikasikan tindak tutur ekspresif menjadi beberapa tipe dan fungsi. Metode deskriptif kualitatif juga diaplikasikan untuk menganalisis data mengenai tindak tutur ekspresif. Berdasarkan hasil yang ditemukan, terdapat 55 tindak tutur ekspresif yang disampaikan oleh Margot Barbie. Terdapat 6 tipe tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan dalam film ini. Tipe-tipe tindak tutur tersebut adalah berterima kasih, meminta maaf, berharap, sikap, sapaan, dan memuji. Sebagai tambahan, hanya terdapat 7 fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan. Fungsi-fungsi tindak tutur tersebut berupa menunjukan rasa syukur, menunjukan rasa penyesalan, menunjukan penerimaan, penghargaan, pujian, keluhan, dan kritik. Berdasarkan hasil, Margot Barbie lebih sering menggunakan ekspresi sikap dengan bentuk keluhan untuk menunjukan ketidakpuasaannya terhadap dirinya dan konflik yang dialaminya. Oleh karena itu, penemuan ini memiki korelasi dengan alur film Barbie yang bercerita mengenai perjalanan dirinya dalam mengatasi krisis identitas dan malfungsi yang dialami. Keluhan yang disampaikan Margot Barbie merupakan bentuk tekanan dan protes dari dirinya untuk selalu tampil sempurna dan sesuai standar masyarakat. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research deals with the Expressive Speech Acts found in Barbie Movie 2023. This research aims to discover the types of expressive speech acts and their functions performed by Margot Barbie. The researcher applies the theory by Searle (1979) to classify the expressive utterances into some types and functions. The qualitative descriptive method was used to analyze the data of expressive speech acts. Based on the result, there are 55 expressive utterances performed by Margot Barbie. Furthermore, there are only 6 types of expressive acts found in this movie. They are thanking, apologizing, wishing, attitude, greeting, and complimenting. Additionally, there are only 7 functions were used to perform expressive speech acts. They are showing gratitude, showing regret, showing acceptance, appreciation, praising, complaining, and criticizing. Based on the result, Margot Barbie frequently used the expression of attitude in the form of complaints to show dissatisfaction toward herself and uncomfortable situations. Therefore, this finding correlates with the plot of Barbie's movie which is about Margot Barbie's journey to overcome her identity crisis and malfunction. In this case, Margot Barbie's complaints are a form of pressure and protest to look perfect or follow traditional roles defined by society. |
