| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Salah satu upaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis empty nester dapat dilakukan menggunakan koping religius sebagai strategi menghadapi stresor dengan aspek religiusitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan koping religius dengan kesejahteraan psikologis lansia empty nester di Kecamatan Banyumas. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara total sampling sebanyak 102 responden dengan kriteria inklusi eksklusi pada Oktober – Desember 2024. Pengukuran menggunakan instrumen psychological well-being scale dan Brief RCOPE BI. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s rho. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koping religius dan kesejahteraan psikologis lansia empty nester (p value = 0,0001) dengan tingkat korelasi cukup pada aspek koping religius positif (r = 0,484) dan koping religius negatif (r = -0,382) dengan kesejahteraan psikologis. Tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis lansia empty nester mayoritas berada pada nilai yang tinggi dengan dominasi dari dimensi environmental mastery dan self-acceptance. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koping religius dengan kesejahteraan psikologis lansia empty nester dengan arah hubungan positif pada koping religius positif dan arah hubungan negatif pada koping religius negatif. Koping religius yang digunakan lansia cenderung mengarah pada koping religius positif. Lansia perlu mempersiapkan aspek penguasaan lingkungan, penerimaan diri, serta penggunanan koping religius untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis di usia lanjut. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Empty nest syndrome is one of the psychological problems in the elderly. One of the efforts to maintain and improve the psychological well-being of empty nester can be done using religious coping as a strategy to deal with stressors with aspects of religiosity. This study aims to determine the relationship between religious coping and the psychological well-being of empty nester elderly in Banyumas District. Methodology: This study used an analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling was carried out by total sampling of 102 respondents with inclusion and exclusion criteria in October - December 2024. Measurements used psychological well-being scale instruments and Brief RCOPE BI. Data analysis using Spearman's rho correlation test. Research Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between religious coping and psychological well-being of empty nester elderly (p value = 0.0001) with a moderate level of correlation in the aspects of positive religious coping (r = 0.484) and negative religious coping (r = -0.382) with psychological well-being. The majority of empty nester elderly psychological well-being levels are at a high value with the dominance of the dimensions of environmental mastery and self-acceptance. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between religious coping and the psychological well-being of empty nester elderly with a positive relationship direction in positive religious coping and a negative relationship direction in negative religious coping. Religious coping used by the elderly tends to lead to positive religious coping. The elderly need to prepare aspects of environmental control, self-acceptance, and the use of religious coping to improve psychological well-being in old age. |
