| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Indonesia merupakan negara berkembang yang terus melakukan pembangunan di segala sektor, termasuk sektor pertanian dan perkebunan. Salah satu sektor perkebunan yang mempunyai komoditas besar adalah kelapa. Cilacap dan Purbalingga merupakan dua kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang merupakan penghasil kelapa dalam jumlah besar, sehingga banyak terdapat pedagang minuman kelapa, pedagang kelapa parut, dan pengusaha sabut kelapa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi ekonomi usaha sabut kelapa di Kabupaten Cilacap dan Purbalingga. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 34 pengusaha sabut kelapa di Kabupaten Cilacap dan Purbalingga yang bernaung di bawah PT. Uba Uhud Internasional. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, dan metode pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji F dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap efisiensi ekonomi, variasi produk berpengaruh negatif terhadap efisiensi ekonomi, dan saluran distribusi tidak berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi ekonomi. Untuk lebih meningkatkan efisiensi usaha sabut kelapa, perlu diperhatikan penggunaan teknologi produksi secara tepat guna dan perlu adanya evaluasi teknologi produksi secara rutin. Selain itu, pemerintah harus secara konsisten memberikan dukungan dan pengetahuan, mengalokasikan anggaran khusus untuk penelitian pengolahan sabut kelapa, menyediakan program inkubasi dan bantuan teknis untuk pengusaha sabut kelapa agar mereka dapat selalu mengembangkan bisnis serta mengakses teknologi baru. |

One of the significant plantation sectors is coconut production. Cilacap and Purbalingga are two regencies in Central Java that are major producers of coconuts, leading to a proliferation of coconut drink traders, grated coconut traders, and coconut coir enterprises. The purpose of this research is to analyze the determinants of the economic efficiency of coconut coir enterprises in the Cilacap and Purbalingga Regencies. The research subjects consisted of 34 coconut coir enterprises in Cilacap and Purbalingga Regencies, operating under the auspices of PT. Uba Uhud Internasional. The type of data used is primary data. The analysis method employed is multiple linear regression analysis, and the hypothesis testing method used is the F test and t-test. The results of the research indicate that technology has a significant positive effect on economic efficiency, product variation has a negative effect on economic efficiency, and distribution channels have no effect on economic efficiency. To further improve the efficiency of the coconut coir business, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of appropriate production technology. A routine evaluation of production technology needs to be performed. In addition, the government must consistently provide support and knowledge, allocate a special budget for research into coconut coir processing, and offer incubation programs and technical assistance for coconut coir enterprises. This will enable them to continue developing their businesses and access new technologies. |
