| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran regional spillover effect dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi kabupaten/kota di Jawa Tengah. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi dampak interaksi antardaerah melalui empat saluran utama: (a) knowledge spillover, (b) industry spillover, (c) private investment spillover, dan (d) government expenditure spillover. Dengan menggunakan data dari 35 kabupaten/kota selama periode 2018–2023, penelitian ini menerapkan metode regresi panel spasial untuk menganalisis hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan Spatial Durbin Model Random Effect mengindikasikan bahwa knowledge spillover, industry spillover, private investment spillover, dan government expenditure spillover memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Selain itu, efek limpahan ini memperlihatkan adanya autokorelasi spasial, yang menegaskan bahwa aktivitas ekonomi di suatu wilayah memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap wilayah sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya mempertimbangkan interaksi regional dan dimensi spasial dalam penyusunan kebijakan, khususnya untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang merata dan berkelanjutan di Jawa Tengah. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT: This study aims to explore the role of regional spillover effects in driving the economic growth of districts and cities in Central Java. The primary focus is to evaluate the impact of interregional interactions through four main channels: (a) knowledge spillover, (b) industry spillover, (c) private investment spillover, and (d) government expenditure spillover. Using data from 35 districts and cities during the period 2018–2023, this research employs spatial panel regression to analyze the relationships between variables. The analysis results, utilizing the Spatial Durbin Model Random Effect, indicate that knowledge spillover, industry spillover, private investment spillover, and government expenditure spillover have a significant positive influence on economic growth. Moreover, these spillover effects exhibit spatial autocorrelation, highlighting that economic activities in one region significantly affect the neighboring areas. This study underscores the importance of considering regional interactions and spatial dimensions in policy formulation, particularly to foster equitable and sustainable economic growth in Central Java. |
