| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Laporan akhir ini dibuat berdasarkan hasil praktik kerja yang telah dilakukan oleh penulis di PT Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP V Purwokerto pada tanggal 21 Agustus - 30 November 2023 di unit angkutan penumpang. Laporan ini diberi judul “Membuat Zine Berbahasa Inggris Indonesia Untuk Kereta Api Edukasi Di PT Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP V Purwokerto”. Tujuan dari kerja praktek ini adalah membuat Inggris - Indonesian zine sebagai media edukasi untuk program Edutrain di kantor DAOP V Purwokerto. Zine merupakan salah satu media cetak alternatif. Zine ini ditulis dalam dua bahasa yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris sehingga dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif bagi anak-anak yang mengikuti program Edutrain di DAOP V Purwokerto. Dalam melakukan kerja praktek, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode untuk mengumpulkan data seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode-metode tersebut dipilih untuk memudahkan dalam proses penulisan laporan akhir. Metode observasi dilakukan pada minggu pertama saat penulis memulai kerja praktek, observasi dilakukan di lingkungan stasiun purwokerto. Metode wawancara dilakukan sebagai salah satu cara penulis untuk mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan, dengan cara mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan kepada penumpang yang mengikuti kegiatan edutrain. Dan ada pula metode dokumentasi dengan cara mengambil gambar atau video pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Dalam pelaksanaan kerja praktek, penulis menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti dalam menentukan konsep yang beberapa kali mengalami perubahan, pemilihan warna dan elemen yang digunakan serta menentukan format dan layout dari zine. Namun, semua tantangan tersebut berhasil penulis atasi sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan laporan akhir ini. |

Inggris) | This final report is made based on the results of job training carried out by the author at PT Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP 5 Purwokerto on August 21 - November 30, 2023 in the passenger transportation unit. This report is entitled “Creating English Indonesian Zine for Education Train At PT Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP V Purwokerto”. The purpose of this job training is to create a bilingual English Indonesian train education zine as media for the Edutrain program at the DAOP V Purwokerto office. Zine is one of the alternative print media. This zine is written in two languages, namely Indonesian and English, so that it can be an effective learning media for children who take part in the Edutrain program at DAOP V Purwokerto. In conducting job training, the author used several methods to collect data such as observation, interview, and documentation. These methods were chosen to facilitate the process of writing the final report. the observation method was carried out in the first week when the author started job training, observations were made in the purwokerto station environment. The interview method was carried out as a way for the author to get the data needed, by asking several questions to passengers who participated in edutrain activities. There is also a documentation method by taking pictures or videos during the activity. In implementing the job training, the author faced several challenges, such as in determining the concept that changed several times, selecting the colors and elements used as well as determining the format and layout of the zine. However, all of these challenges were successfully overcome by the author so that the author could complete the final report. |
