| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pengukuran beban kerja dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan subjektif dan objektif. Pendekatan secara objektif pada umumnya memiliki konistensi dalam nilai beban yang dihasilkan. Sedangkan pendekatan secara subjektif pada dasarnya memberikan ruang untuk memahami konteks individu melalui preferensi personal. Terkait hal tersebut, penelitian ini mencoba menggabungkan dua metode pendekatan subjektif dan objektif untuk memperoleh gambaran beban kerja akademik mahasiswa secara aktual. Metode yang dikombinasikan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) dan Modified Cooper Harper (MCH) yang kemudian disebut sebagai metode Hybrid FTE-MCH. Hasil dari pengukuran beban kerja menggunakan metode ini, kemudian akan dibandingkan dengan metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) konvensional untuk mengetahui perbedaan dari data yang dihasilkan oleh kedua metode tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perhitungan beban kerja menggunakan metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah dan semester dengan bobot SKS yang sama akan memiliki nilai indeks yag sama pula. Semakin besar bobot SKS yang terkandung dalam suatu mata kuliah/semester, maka semakin besar pula nilai indeks FTE yang dihasilkan. Sedangkan perhitungan beban kerja menggunakan Hybrid FTE-MCH, meskipun mata kuliah maupun semester memiliki bobot SKS yang sama, namun nilai indeks yang dihasilkan akan sangat bervariasi. Berdasarkan perhitungan Hybrid FTE-MCH didapati bahwa semester 5 merupakan semester terberat dalam Kurikulum 2021. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Workload measurement can be conducted using both subjective and objective approaches. The objective approach generally provides consistency in the resulting workload values. On the other hand, the subjective approach allows for understanding individual contexts through personal preferences. In this regard, this study aims to combine the two approaches subjective and objective to obtain an accurate presentation of students’ academic workload. The methods combined in thi study are the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method and the Modified Cooper Harper (MCH) method, which together are referred to as the Hybrid FTE-MCH method. The result from the workload measurement using this method will then be compared with conventional Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to identify the differences between the data produced by both methods. The findings indicate that workload calculations using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method show that courses and semesters with the same credit weight (SKS) will result in the same index value. The greater the credits weight of a course or semester, the higher the FTE index value. However, workload calculations using the Hybrid FTE-MCH method reveal significant variations in the index values, even when courses or semesters have the same credits weight. Based on the Hybrid FTE-MCH calculations, it was found that the fifth semester is the most challenging in the 2021 curriculum |
