| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi kombinasi temulawak dan brotowali terhadap persentase karkas dan kadar lemak abdomen ayam broiler. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah ayam broiler dengan jumlah 120 ekor yang diberi pakan dengan kombinasi temulawak dan brotowali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan terdiri dari; P1 : Pakan basal tanpa pemberian herbal (kontrol negatif), P2 : Pakan basal + temulawak 2% + brotowali 1% (broiler umur 11-17 hari), P3 : Pakan basal + temulawak 2% + brotowali 1% (broiler umur 21-27 hari), P4 : Pakan basal + temulawak 1% + brotowali 0,5% (broiler umur 11-17 hari), P5 : Pakan basal + temulawak 1% + brotowali 0,5% (broiler umur 21-27 hari), P6 : Pakan basal + Antibiotic Growth Promotor/AGP (kontrol positif). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dengan uji lanjut melalui uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berepengaruh nyata (P < 0,05) sehingga tidak perlu melakukan uji lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase karkas tertinggi adalah 70,83% (P5) dan terendah 66,61% (P1), sedangkan kadar lemak abdomen terendah yaitu 1,79% (P5) dan tertinggi 2,00% (P1). Kesimpulan dari peneltian ini adalah semua level suplementasi kombinasi temulawak dan brotowali terhadap ayam broiler memberikan hasil rataan persentase karkas dan kadar lemak abdomen yang tidak berbeda. Namun P4 (suplementasi kombinasi temulawak 1% dan brotowali 0,05% pada ayam broiler berumur 11-17 hari) memberikan hasil biaya pembelian feed aditive terendah. |

Inggris) | This study aims to determine the effect of supplementation of a combination of ginger and brotowali on the percentage of carcass and abdominal fat content of broiler chickens. The research material used was 120 broiler chickens fed with a combination of temulawak and brotowali. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments tested consisted of; P1: Basal feed without herbal supplementation (negative control), P2: Basal feed + 2% temulawak + 1% brotowali (broilers aged 11-17 days), P3: Basal feed + 2% temulawak + 1% brotowali (broilers aged 21-27 days), P4: Basal feed + 1% temulawak + 0.5% brotowali (broilers aged 11-17 days), P5: Basal feed + 1% temulawak + 0.5% brotowali (broilers aged 21-27 days), P6: Basal feed + Antibiotic Growth Promoter/AGP (positive control). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with further testing through the honest significant difference test (HSD). The results of the analysis showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P <0.05) so that no further testing was necessary. The results showed that the highest carcass percentage was 70.83% (P5) and the lowest was 66.61% (P1), while the lowest abdominal fat content was 1.79% (P5) and the highest was 2.00% (P1). The conclusion of this study is that all levels of supplementation of the combination of temulawak and brotowali to broiler chickens provide average carcass percentage and abdominal fat content that are not different. However, P4 (supplementation of a combination of 1% temulawak and 0.05% brotowali to broiler chickens aged 11-17 days) provides the lowest feed additive purchase cost. |
