Indonesia) | Mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman yang berasal dari luar kota sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam mencari kos yang sesuai karena informasi yang tersedia tidak selalu akurat dan dapat dipercaya. Hal tersebut meningkatkan risiko penipuan dan kerugian bagi mahasiswa. Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) Pengelolaan Kos Mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman bertujuan untuk menyediakan platform yang efisien, akurat, dan terpercaya dalam menyajikan informasi mengenai kos mahasiswa. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan mahasiswa dapat membuat keputusan yang lebih baik terkait pemilihan kos. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan proses identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan dan pengembangan sistem, dan penyusunan laporan dengan pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik mahasiswa Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk visualisasi lokasi kos. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi dengan baik dan memperoleh nilai kualitas “sangat baik” dengan rata-rata nilai pengujian Mean Opinion Score (MOS) sebesar 95,54%. |

Inggris) | Students of Jenderal Soedirman University who come from out of town often face difficulties in finding suitable boarding houses (kos) due to the lack of accurate and reliable information. This increases the risk of fraud and losses for students. The development of the Geographic Information System (GIS) for Kos Management at Jenderal Soedirman University aims to provide an efficient, accurate, and reliable platform for presenting information about student housing. With this system, it is expected that students can make better decisions regarding their housing choices. The method used in this research involves problem identification, data collection, system planning and development, and reporting, with system development using the waterfall method. This research resulted in a system that meets the specific needs of students at Jenderal Soedirman University and successfully integrates GIS technology for visualizing kos locations. The test results show that all features function properly and the system achieved an "excellent" quality rating with an average Mean Opinion Score (MOS) score of 95.54%. |
