| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya fenomena perilaku anggota Komunitas Pecinta Reptil Banyumas Satria dalam pelestarian hewan reptil. Banyaknya eksistensi penghobi hewan reptil menjadi dampak terancamnya hewan reptil. Gerakan perilaku anggota komunitas Pecinta Reptil Banyumas Satria menjadi bukti keperduliaan kelestarian hewan reptil di alam. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana komunitas ini berkontribusi pada pelestarian reptil melalui rescue, breeding, monitoring, dan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Penelitian mengadopsi Teori Sosiologi Organisasi Max Weber untuk memahami struktur dan kegiatan komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat masyarakat Banyumas yang meningkat terhadap hewan reptil berkontribusi pada peran aktif komunitas dalam menjaga populasi dan memberikan pemahaman tentang reptil. Proses organisasi komunitas yang terstruktur rapi dan kecintaan anggota terhadap reptil memfasilitasi gerakan pelestarian lingkungan yang telah menjadi tradisi dalam komunitas. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study is motivated by the behavior of members of the Banyumas Satria Reptile Lovers Community in reptile conservation. The growing number of reptile enthusiasts has led to concerns about the potential threats to reptile populations. The actions of the Banyumas Satria Reptile Lovers Community demonstrate their commitment to the conservation of reptiles in their natural habitat. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research illustrates how the community contributes to reptile preservation through rescue operations, breeding programs, monitoring, and public education. The study employs Max Weber’s Theory of Organizational Sociology to understand the community's structure and activities. The findings reveal that the increasing interest in reptiles among the Banyumas population contributes to the community's active role in maintaining reptile populations and educating the public about reptiles. The well-structured organization of the community and the members' passion for reptiles facilitate environmental conservation efforts that have become a tradition within the community. |
