| Judul Artikel | Penyelesaian Persamaan Fitzhugh-Nagumo dengan Menggunakan Metode Perturbasi Homotopi |

| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Persamaan Fitzhugh-Nagumo merupakan persamaan diferensial yang didapatkan dari penyederhanaan persamaan Hodgkin-Huxley. Persamaan ini menggambarkan mengenai transmisi impuls syaraf. Transmisi impuls syaraf ini menjelaskan mengenai mekanisme terbuka dan tertutupnya saluran membran syaraf tempat di mana terjadinya pertukaran ion-ion Na+, K+, Cl-, dan A-. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan penyelesaian dari persamaan tersebut menggunakan metode perturbasi homotopi. Metode ini digunakan karena sistem persamaan Fitzhugh-Nagumo merupakan sistem perturbasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui simulasi dari penyelesaian persamaan tersebut. Dari simulasi tersebut diambil beberapa kemungkinan nilai 𝛼 dan waktu t sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan nilai 𝛼 yang memenuhi agar penyelesaian dari persamaan tersebut mendekati penyelesaian eksak atau analitik yang diperoleh dengan bantuan aplikasi Maple 22. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The Fitzhugh-Nagumo equation is a differential equation obtained from simplifying the Hodgkin-Huxley equation. This equation describes the transmission of nerve impulses. This nerve impulse transmission explains the mechanism of open and closed nerve membrane channels where the exchange of Na+, K+, Cl-, and A- ions occurs. Furthermore, this study aims to determine the solution of the equation using the homotopy perturbation method. This method is used because the Fitzhugh-Nagumo equation system is a perturbation system. In addition, this study aims to determine the simulation of the solution of the equation. From the simulation, several possible values of 𝛼 and time t are taken so that it can be concluded that the value of 𝛼 that meets the solution of the equation is close to the exact or analytical solution obtained with the help of Maple 22 application. |
