| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep Victim Precipitation dalam konteks tindak pidana pelecehan seksual di tempat karaoke. Victim Precipitation adalab teori yang menyatakan bahwa korban dapat memainkan peran dalam terjadinya kejahatan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran korban dalam insiden pelecehan seksual, serta menganalisa sejauh mana perilaku korban dalam insiden pelecehan seksual, serta menganalisa sejauh mana perilaku korban berkontribusi dalam terjadinya pelecehan seksual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Yuridis Empiris dengan spesifikasi penelitian deskriptif analitis. Lokasi penelitian di Inul Vista Karaoke Purwokerto. Metode penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di tempat karaoke terjadi karena ada Victim Precipitation dari korban. Salah satu bentuknya adalah korban yang menggoda pelaku karena terpengaruh alcohol yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan aksi pelaku melakukan pelecehan seksual terhadap korban. Pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di tempat karaoke tidak banyak dihiraukan oleh perusahaan pemilik tempat, tidak adanya regulasi secara preventif terhadap pelanggan maupun Lady Companion sehingga banyak terjadi pelecehan seksual yang pada akhirnya hanya diterima dengan lapang dada oleh pada korban. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study examines the concept of Victim Precipitation in the context of sexual harassment crimes in karaoke venues. Victim Precipitation is a theory that suggests that victims can play a role in the occurrence of crimes, either directly or indirectly. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the victim's role in sexual harassment incidents, as well as to analyze the extent to which the victim's behavior contributes to the occurrence of sexual harassment. The research employs a Juridical Empirical approach with a descriptive-analytical research specification. The research location is Inul Vista Karaoke Purwokerto. The method for determining informants in this study uses Purposive Sampling Technique. The data source used is primary data. The results indicate that sexual harassment occurring in karaoke venues happens due to Victim Precipitation by the victim. One form of this is when the victim provokes the perpetrator due to alcohol influence, which is then followed by the perpetrator's act of sexual harassment against the victim. Sexual harassment occurring in karaoke venues is often overlooked by the venue owners, with a lack of preventive regulations for both customers and Lady Companions, leading to frequent occurrences of sexual harassment which are ultimately resigned to by the victims with resignation. |
