| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perubahan fonetik dan fonologi sangat mungkin terjadi ketika seseorang menuturkan sebuah bahasa sebagai bahasa asing. Penelitian ini mengobservasi perubahan tersebut tepatnya tipe-tipe perubahan bunyi yang terjadi serta pengaruhnya ketika sebuah kata dalam Bahasa Inggris diucapkan oleh penutur Korea. Data yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah salah satu program dari kanal YouTube SF9 yang berjudul Inseong O’Clock. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah pada kata-kata yang berakhiran huruf st yang diucapkan oleh Inseong Kim. Kemudian, data akan dianalisa menggunakan metode observasi kualitatif, yaitu peneliti akan mengobservasi video, mencatat kata-kata yang berakhir dengan huruf st, lalu menganalisa tipe perubahan bunyi yang terjadi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada 12 kata yang tercatat, ditemukan empat dari tujuh tipe perubahan bunyi. Meliputi asimilasi, epentesis, elitisi atau penghapusan, dan lenisi yang merupakan tipe dengan kemunculan terbanyak. Singkatnya, terdapat beberapa tipe perubahan bunyi pada penelitian yang dilakukan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Phonetics and phonology change possibly happen when the Korean people speak foreign language such as English. This research observed the phonetics and phonological change type and impact when an English word is produced by Korean. The data that the researchers use for this research is from one of SF9’s YouTube channel programs called Inseong O’Clock. However, this research focus is on the words-final st letters produced by Inseong Kim. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed by using the qualitative observation method where the researchers observe the video, write down the words that end with st letters, and analyze the sound change type. Based on the research on 12 words listed, there are four out of seven types appeared in the data. It starts with assimilation, epenthesis, elition, and lenition. In conclusion, several types of sound changes happen when a Korean produces an English word. |
