| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Desa Dawuhan merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kabupaten Brebes yang mempunyai potensi sebagai penghasil komoditas kentang. Dewasa ini produktivitas tanaman kentang perlu ditingkatkan guna memenuhi permintaan kebutuhan kentang dalam negeri. Peningkatan produktivitas tanaman kentang dapat dilaksanakan antara lain dengan cara mengkombinasikan penggunaan input yang bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, tanaga kerja, insektisida dan fungisida terhadap besarnya hasil produksi kentang (2) menghitung tingkat efisiensi ekonomis usahatani kentang di Desa Dawuhan Kecamatan Sirampog (3) Menghitung biaya, penerimaan dan pendapatan usahatani kentang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Dawuhan Kecamatan Sirampog Kabupaten Brebes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan rancangan pengambilan sampelnya adalah Simple Random Sampling. Jumlah petani yang sampel 20 orang diambil dari populasi sebanyak 50 orang petani. Hasil analisis penggunaan faktor produksi dengan menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas menunjukan bahwa luas lahan berpengaruh sangat nyata, bibit berpengaruh tidak nyata, tenaga kerja berpengaruh tidak nyata, pupuk berpengaruh tidak nyata dan negatif, insektisida berpengaruh tidak nyata dan negatif, fungisida berpengaruh tidak nyata dan negatif terhadap produk kentang. Biaya produksi rata-rata per luas lahan garapan sebesar Rp 7.942.885,00 penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp 49.078,750 dan pendapatan rata-rata per luas lahan garapan sebesar Rp 42.738,500. Penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan secara ekonomis belum efisien sehingga masih terbuka peluang untuk meningkatkan produksi kentang dengan meningkatkan penggunaan faktor produksi tersebut. Sejalan dengan program PHT (Pengendalian Hama Terpadu) maka penggunaan pestisida digunakan secara bijaksana dan seharusnya menggunakan pestisida alami yang ramah lingkungan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya penyuluhan kepada petani mengenai penggunaan faktor produksi yang tepat dan benar agar diperoleh hasil produksi yang maksimal. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The Dawuhan village, located in the Brebes region, is one of the potential regions to crop potatoes as a commodity. These days productivity of potato cultivating needs to be increased in order to meet the domestic needs of the country. This much needed increase in productivity can be done through combining methods of input in order to (1) analyze the affects of wide land cultivation, seed, fertilizer, manpower, insecticide and fungicide towards mass potato crop production (2) calculating the economic efficiency level of potato farmingat Dawuhan village in the District of Sirampog (3) calculate cost, agregation and profit of potato farming. Research was conducted in the Dawuhan village of the District of Sirampog in the Brebes Region. Method of research used is survey and survey stakes of Simple Random Sampling. In total there were 20 samples of farmers taken from a population of 50 farmers. Results of this analyze used the production factor through the Cobb-Douglas production factor which showed that broad fields cause a significant affect, seeds not so much of an afect as well as manpower, fertilizers non-significant and negative affect, insecticide and fungicide cause also a non-significant and negative affect towards potato production. Production costs range for per land cultivation as much as Rp 49.078,750 and profit range per land cultivation of Rp 42.738,500. The use of land cultivation product factor economically still lacks efficiency and therefore a gaping opportunity to increase potato production by increasing the use of production factors. In parallel to the PHT program (Integrated Pest Control) pesticide should be used prudently and only through environmentally friendly pesticide. Therefore, in 2 accordance to these findings, information needs to be spread amongst farmers regarding these product factors clearly and accurately in order to gain maximum productivity. |
