| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rumput gajah terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil beberapa varietas padi gogo dalam sistem intercrops di lahan tadah hujan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode eksperimen di desa Banjaranyar Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas pada bulan Maret 2012 sampai September 2012. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan petak terbagi dengan dua faktor yang dicoba. Faktor pertama yaitu penanaman rumput gajah sebagai petak utama: tanpa rumput gajah dan dengan rumput gajah. Faktor kedua adalah varietas padi gogo sebagai anak petak: Situ Patenggang, Kalimutu, Danau Gaung, dan Jatiluhur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rumput gajah yang digunakan sebagai tanaman tumpangsari tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo. Beberapa varietas padi gogo menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pada variabel jumlah anakan, biomassa tanaman, total panjang akar, jumlah gabah hampa per malai, jumlah gabah hampa per rumpun, dan bobot 1000 butir gabah. Varietas Situ Patenggang menunjukkan total panjang akar dan bobot gabah isi per rumpun tertinggi masing-masing sebesar 505,27 cm dan 7,38 g pada penanaman tumpangsari dengan rumput gajah. |

Inggris) | This research is aimed to know the elephant grass influence to growth and yield of some varieties of upland rice in system intercrops cistern farm..The Research is conducted with the experiment method in Banjaranyar Countryside of Sokaraja Subdistrict of Banyumas Regency at month March 2012 until September 2012. The conception used is split plot design with two factor are experiment. First factor that is elephant grass as especial check; without elephant grass and with the elephant grass. Second factor is varieties of upland rice as check child; Situ Patenggang, Kalimutu, Danau Gaung, Jatiluhur. Result of research show the elephant grass which is used by yield intercrops not influence the growth and result of upland rice. Some varieties of upland rice show the existence of difference at variable total number of tillers per cluster, crop biomassa, total of root length , vacuous shell of rice amount per hill, amount up the vacuous shell of rice per hill, and wight 1000 shell of rice item. Varieties Situ Patenggang show total of length grow on and wight shell of rice fill per highest hill each of 505,27 cm and 7,38 g at cultivation intercrops with elephant grass. |
