Indonesia) | Penelitian dengan judul “Hubungan Umur dan Pendidikan dengan Tahapan Adopsi Inovasi Inseminasi Buatan pada Peternak Sapi Potong di Daerah Urut Sewu Kabupaten Kebumen” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tahapan adopsi inovasi Inseminasi buatan yang ada pada peternak sapi potong dan menganalisis hubungan umur dan pendidikan dengan tahapan adopsi inovasi inseminasi buatan pada peternak sapi potong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, penetapan sampel wilayah dilakukan secara purposive sampling yaitu Kecamatan Klirong, Buluspesantren dan Mirit yang memiliki populasi ternak sapi cukup tinggi. Penetapan jumlah responden menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin of error 10%. Pemilihan responden dilakukan secara random sampling sebanyak 90 peternak. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur peternak sapi di Daerah Urut Sewu sebagian besar termasuk dalam umur produktif yaitu 15-60 tahun dengan persentase 92,22% dan pendidikan yang bervariasi yaitu dari SD hingga SMA. Peternak di Daerah Urut Sewu sudah sadar adanya teknologi inseminasi buatan tetapi baru 33,33% peternak yang sudah mengadopsi inovasi inseminasi buatan. Hasil analisis Rank Spearman menunjukkan umur dan pendidikan peternak tidak berhubungan dengan tahapan adopsi inovasi IB. |

Inggris) | The research entitled "The Relationship of Age and Education with the Stages of Adoption of Artificial Insemination Innovations among Beef Cattle Breeders in the Urut Sewu Region, Kebumen Regency" to determine how the stages of adoption of artificial insemination innovations in beef cattle farmers and analyze the relationship between age and education with the stages of adoption of artificial insemination innovations in beef cattle breeders. The method used in this study is a survey method, the determination of the sample area is carried out by purposive sampling, namely the Klirong, Buluspesantren and Mirit sub-districts which have a high population of cattle. Determination of the number of respondents using the slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%. Selection of respondents by random sampling as many as 90 farmers. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis. The results of the research show that the age of cattle breeders in the Urut Sewu Region is mostly within the productive age range, namely 15-60 years with a percentage of 92.22% and their education varies, namely from SD until SMA. Farmers in the Urut Sewu area are aware of the existence of artificial insemination technology, but only 33.33% of farmers have adopted artificial insemination innovation. The results of the Spearman Rank analysis show that age and education of farmers relative does not related the stages of IB innovation. |
