Indonesia) | Penelitan dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2023 sampai dengan Agustus 2024 di Kabupaten Kebumen, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, dengan tujuan mengetahui proses perkembangan ternak sapi potong dan daya dukung hijauan guna mengembangkan populasi ternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan serta BPS Kabupaten Kebumen. Kabupaten Kebumen diambil sebagai sampel KPPTR karena Kebumen direncanakan sebagai daerah penghasil bibit sapi potong. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Kapasitas Peningkatan Populasi Ternak Ruminansia (KPPTR). Hasil KPPTR (SL) Kabupaten Kebumen sebesar -19.307,96, sedangkan KPPTR (KK) sebesar 431.751,14. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya solusi seperti pemanfaatan lahan tidur agar kecukupan kebutuhan pakan ternak ruminansia dapat tercukupi.

Inggris) | The research was conducted from November 2023 to August 2024 in Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province, with the aim of knowing the development process of beef cattle and the carrying capacity of forage in order to develop the beef cattle population in Kebumen Regency. The research method used was a descriptive analysis method. The sample used was secondary data obtained through interviews with the Department of Agriculture and Food and BPS of Kebumen Regency. Kebumen Regency was taken as a sample of KPPTR because Kebumen was planned as a beef cattle seed producing area. The data analysis used was the analysis of the Capacity to Increase the Population of Ruminant Livestock (KPPTR). The results of the KPPTR (SL) of Kebumen Regency were -19,307.96, while the KPPTR (KK) was 431,751.14. Therefore, a solution is needed such as the utilization of idle land so that the adequacy of ruminant livestock feed needs can be met. |
