| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Daun Saga (Abrus precatorius L.) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dalam mengobati sariawan yang diformulasikan sebagai tablet hisap. Bahan penghancur yang ditambahkan pada formulasi tablet hisap dapat mempercepat waktu melarut tablet, sehinggga mempercepat efikasi dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi disintegran sodium starch glycolate (SSG) yang dapat menghasilkan tablet hisap ekstrak daun saga sifat fisik yang memenuhi syarat. Formulasi tablet hisap dengan variasi konsentrasi SSG sebesar FI (2%), FII (4%), dan FIII (8%) dengan metode granulasi basah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan FII dengan konsentrasi SSG sebesar 4% merupakan formulasi terpilih karena memenuhi semua persyaratan sifat fisik granul dan tablet hisap dengan waktu melarut 11,38 menit. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Saga leaves (Abrus precatorius L.) have antibacterial activity in treating canker sores which are formulated as lozenges. Disintegrants added to the lozenge formulation can accelerate the dissolves time of the tablet, thereby accelerating efficacy and increasing patient comfort. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of sodium starch glycolate (SSG) disintegrant that can produce saga leaf extract lozenges with physical properties that meet the requirements. Formulation of lozenges with varying SSG concentrations of FI (2%), FII (4%), and FIII (8%) using the wet granulation method. The research results showed that FII with an SSG concentration of 4% was the selected formulation because it met all the requirements for the physical properties of granules and lozenges with a dissolving time of 11.38 minutes. |
