| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan daya hidup dan average daily grwoth (ADG) pada fase starter lantai 1 dan 2 kandang CV Indogigante yang berlokasi di Desa Sikapat, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan dari tanggal 10 Oktober - 22 November 2023 dikandang CV Indogigante. Materi yang digunakan yaitu ayam dengan populasi 22.000 ekor lantai 1 dan 22.000 ekor lantai 2. Data diperoleh melalui survei dilapangan, data primer didapatkan dari recording dan data sekunder dari wawancara dengan kepala kendang serta pemilik. Data Primer yang telah didapatkan diuji menggunakan independent simple t-test. Analisis menggunakan uji t diperoleh hasil P<0,05 untuk perbandingan daya hidup dan P<0,05 untuk perbandingan adg. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan nyata. Daya hidup lantai satu lebih rendah yaitu 96,998%dibandingkan 98,317% pada lantai dua dikarenakan kelembaban dan manajemen pemeliharaan pada lantai 2 yang baik. Terdapat juga perbedaan signifikan pada adg antara kedua lantai pada fase starter dari umur 8-21. Kata kunci : ADG, Ayam niaga pedaging, closed house, daya hidup, Fase starter |

Inggris) | This study aims to determine the difference in vitality and average daily grwoth (ADG) in the starting phase on the 1st and 2nd floors of CV Indogigante cages located in Sikapat Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The research was conducted from October 10 - November 22, 2023 at CV Indogigante. The material used is chickens with a population of 22000 on the 1st floor and 22,000 on the 2nd floor. Data was obtained through surveys in the field, primary data was obtained from recordings and secondary data from interviews with the head of the cage and the owner. The Primary Data that has been obtained is tested using an independent simple t-test. The analysis using the t-test obtained the results of P<0.05 for the comparison of vitality and P<0.05 for the comparison of adg. It can be concluded that there is a real difference. The viability of the first floor is lower at 96.998% compared to 98.317% on the second floor due to good humidity and maintenance management on the 2nd floor.
