| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kabupaten Kebumen merupakan lokasi sentra sumber pembibitan sapi PO. Keberhasilan dalam pengembangbiakan berkaitan dengan peningkatan performa reproduksi. Performa reproduksi merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ternak dalam negeri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui performa reproduksi sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) di Kabupaten Kebumen pengaruh umur induk dan umur bunting pertama terhadap service per conception (S/C), days open (DO), dan calving interval (CI). Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu metode survei. Penentuan wilayah ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling di Kabupaten Kebumen dengan pertimbangan sebagai lokasi pembibitan sapi PO di wilayah kerja Puskeswan Klirong dan Puskeswan Mirit. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu induk sapi PO umur 4-6 tahun sebanyak 73 ekor milik 56 peternak. Ternak tersebut sudah pernah beranak minimal dua kali. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dan melakukan wawancara dengan peternak sapi PO di Kabupaten Kebumen. Analisis data dengan menggunakan deskriptif, serta dilakukan regresi berganda. Informasi yang diperoleh yaitu umur induk 4,89 ± 0,79 tahun, umur bunting pertama 22,42 ± 3,51 bulan, S/C 1,92 ± 0,80, DO 3,81 ± 1,09 bulan, dan CI 12,93 ± 1,18 bulan. Data performa reproduksi dianalis menggunakan regresi berganda untuk memperoleh pengaruh umur induk dan umur bunting pertama terhadap S/C, DO, dan CI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur induk dan umur bunting pertama secara simultan berpengaruh (p < 0,05) terhadap S/C, DO, dan CI. Tingkat keeratan umur induk dan umur bunting pertama terhadap S/C (r = 0,665), DO (r = 0,559), CI (r = 0,542). Analisis regresi linier berganda diperoleh persamaan regresi antara umur induk dan umur bunting pertama terhadap S/C (Y1) = -1,604 + 0,073 X1 + 0,142 X2 – 0,078 D dengan R-square 0,442, DO (Y2) = -0,264 + 0,078 X1 + 0,165 X2 – 0,032 D dengan R-square 0,312, dan CI (Y3) = 8,606 + 0,084 X1 + 0,174 X2 + 0,036 D dengan R-square 0,294. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Kebumen District is the location of the source center for PO cattle breeding. Success in breeding is related to increased reproductive performance. Reproductive performance is one of the important factors to be able to increase domestic livestock productivity. The study aims to determine the reproductive performance of Peranakan Ongole (PO) cattle in Kebumen District on the influence of the mother's age and the first pregnancy age on service per conception (S/C), days open (DO), and calving interval (CI). The sampling method used is the survey method. The determination of the area was determined by the purposive sampling method in Kebumen District with consideration as a location for PO cattle breeding in the working area of the Klirong Health Center and Mirit Health Center. The samples used were 73 PO cows aged 4-6 years belonging to 56 breeders. The cattle have given birth at least twice. Data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with PO cattle breeders in Kebumen District. Data analysis using descriptive, as well as multiple regression. The information obtained was 4.89 ± 0.79 years old, first pregnancy age 22.42 ± 3.51 months, S/C 1.92 ± 0.80, DO 3.81 ± 1.09 months, and CI 12.93 ± 1.18 months. Reproductive performance data were analyzed using multiple regression to obtain the influence of maternal age and first pregnancy age on S/C, DO, and CI. The results showed that the mother's age and the first pregnancy age simultaneously affected (p < 0.05) on S/C, DO, and CI. The level of tightness of the mother's age and the first pregnancy age to S/C (r = 0.665), DO (r = 0.559), CI (r = 0.542). Multiple linier regression analysis obtained the regression equation between the parent age and the first gestation age against S/C (Y1) = --1,604 + 0,073 X1 + 0,142 X2 – 0,078 D with R-square 0.442, DO (Y2) = - 0,264 + 0,078 X1 + 0,165 X2 – 0,032 D with R-square 0.312, and CI (Y3) = 88,606 + 0,084 X1 + 0,174 X2 + 0,036 D with R-square 0.294. |
