Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi tepung lemna pada pakan basal kambing perah
yang mengandung mineral Chromium terhadap konsumsi bahan kering, konsumsi bahan organik,
kecernaan bahan kering, kecernaan bahan organik dan BCS. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret
– Juni 2024 di Peternakan Kambing Perah Mendha Adhikara Farm, Banjaranyar, Kecamatan Sokaraja,
Kabupaten Banyumas, Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas
Jenderal Soedirman. Materi yang digunakan 18 ekor kambing sapera betina dengan rataan bobot badan
40±3,56 kg, pakan basal yang diberikan sebanyak 4% BK/kg BB. Metode penelitian menggunakan
rancangan acak kelompok pola split plot. Perlakuan terdiri atas: R0 sebagai pakan basal (40% konsentrat
+ 60% hijauan) + Chromium 1,5 ppm dan R1 (R0 + tepung lemna sp. 2%). Data penelitian dianalisis
dengan analisis variansi dan uji-lanjut menggunakan Duncan Multiple Rang Test. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi bahan kering dengan
rataan R0 sebesar 1.735,46±23,29 (gram/ekor/hari) dan R1 sebesar 1.762,31±14,61 (gram/ekor/hari)
dan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi bahan organik, kecernaan bahan kering,
kecernaan bahan organic dan BCS. Kesimpulan, suplementasi tepung lemna tidak mempengaruhi
konsumsi bahan organik, kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organic dan BCS tetapi meningkatkan
konsumsi bahan kering.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The study aimed to examine the effect of lemna flour supplementation on dairy goat basalt feed
containing Chromium minerals on consumption of dry matter, organic matter, digestibility of dry matter,
organic matter and BCS. The research was carried out at the Mendha Adhikara Farm Dairy Goat Farm,
Banyumas Regency, Animal Feedstuff Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman
University. The material used were 18 female goats with an average body weight of 40 ± 3.56 kg, basal
feed was given as much as 4% DM/kg BW. Method used a random design of split plot groups. The
treatment consisted of: R0 as basal feed (40% concentrate + 60% forage)+Chromium 1.5 ppm and R1
(R0+lemna flour sp. 2%). The research data was analyzed by variance analysis and follow-up tests using
the DMRT. The results showed that the treatment had effect (P<0.05) on dry matter consumption with
an average R0 wosh 1,735.46±23.29 (grams/head/day) and R1 of 1,762.31±14.61 (grams/head/day) and
had no effect (P>0.05) on organic matter consumption, dry matter digestibility, organic matter
digestibility and BCS. In conclusion, lemna flour supplementation does not affect the consumption of
organic matter, digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and BCS but increases the consumption of dry
matter.
