| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Generasi Sandwich merupakan seseorang yang terjepit merawat orang tua dan anak, generasi Sandwich memiliki masalah dalam kesejahteraan psikologis, perlunya dukungan sosial mendukung kesejahteraan psikologisnya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kesejahteraan psikologis pada generasi Sandwich. Metodologi: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September-Maret 2024, dengan 48 responden yaitu perempuan dengan generasi Sandwich menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan analisis univariat serta bivariate menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil Penelitian: Dukungan sosial tinggi yang diberikan dapat menunjukan kesejahteraan psikologis yang baik bagi responden, dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yaitu nilai p value 0,001. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang pentingnya dukungan sosial dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis pada generasi Sandwich. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: The Sandwich generation is caring for parents and children. The dominant Sandwich generation has problems with psychological well-being, so it is necessary to provide good social support to the Sandwich Generation to promote positive psychological well-being. Purpose: This research aims to determine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in the Sandwich generation. Method: This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. It was conducted in September-March 2024. Forty-eight respondents, namely women from the Sandwich generation, were surveyed using a total sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire specifically designed to measure social support and psychological well-being in the Sandwich generation, used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. Research Results: The research findings highlight the significant role of social support in promoting psychological well-being in the Sandwich generation. The strong relationship between the two variables, as indicated by the significant p-value of < .01, is a key insight that can enlighten our understanding of this unique group. Conclusion: This study provides valuable insights into the importance of social support in enhancing the psychological well-being of the Sandwich generation. These findings have the potential to guide the development of interventions and support systems, offering hope for improving the mental health of this unique group. |
